College Review

Basically the reputation of my college is very good. It is one of the best government engineering college across the nation. There are students from all over the country and also outside the country. The infrastructure can be improved. The college is working on it.

The course curriculum is quite appropriate. In the first year all the field's students have the same course irrespective of their branches. Exams are occurred twice every semester. The first one is called the Mid semester exam and the next is End semester exams. There are several other quizzes, practical exams etc.

The companies visit our college for placements and internships. The final year students i.e. 4th year students apply for the placements while the 3rd year students apply for internships. Students get wide variety of opportunities in terms of placements and internships.

There are several events celebrated in our college. One is the annual cultural fest named "Culrav". We also have an annual tech fest called "Avishkar". There are several other events like Hack36, Inter College activities etc.

Fee structure is quite feasible. The fee structure is different for different categories of students. International students have higher fees. There are several government scholarship programs which benefit the students.

I don't know if the college offers any scholarship. But students do get scholarships from government bodies. The state government offers several scholarship programs for the students according to the annual income of their family. Also there is a scholarship for foreign nationals which the Indian embassy in foreign nations offer.

There are several extracurricular activities in my college ranging from dance, music, sports, dramatics, modeling etc. There are several events organized for these extracurriculars. There is a sports meet every year. Annual cultural fest and tech fest is organized to showcase the talents.

Yes I have opted for the hostel. There are many hostels in my college. Right now we are 2 students in a single room. We have a mess facility where food is provided 4 times a day. All the basic facilities including sanitation, dispensary etc. are provided. Also new hostels are under construction.

The best thing of our college is that the seniors are very helpful. They are always available for the juniors even at 2 am. They conduct classes for the juniors to help them study the things which are required for placements and internships.

I gave my entrance exam in May 2018. I had already filled up the forms. The entrance exam was JEE mains. After the results of Jee mains there is counseling process. During counseling we select our preferred college and course of study. And according to our rank we are allocated the college and branch of studies.

The faculty is very well qualified. They have very good teaching experience. They maintain good relationships with the students. They give their level best for the students. The faculty is well divided and qualified according to the branch and subject they teach.
