Remarks
The area of college in which is built is small. There are less space for sports activities we have visit nearby DDA complex to play different sports otherwise its good in all other aspects. The best thing is the newly built auditorium.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is specialized in Finance and is of 2 years divided in total of 6 semesters. In each semester we have to study 7 subjects with various projects, assignments and presentations. Internal consists of 60% marks and external 40%. Internal consists of mid term, group projects, individual assignment, class participation. Mid term is taken online through their moodle and end term is on paper.
Placement Experience
The college has a record for 100% placements and they do provide internship in every field finance, marketing, research etc. The average stipend is 18000 and average package is 9 lakhs per annum. I have not got Internship yet but out of a batch of 300, 100 students have got Internship till now.
College Events
There are many socities in the college which run by seniors and these socities or clubs are for different field of interests and they organises events such as stock pick where we have to present an IPO its valuation and young bulls where we have to do virtual trading . Corporate roadies where everything goes according to real roadies
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is little bit expensive. The fees for 2 year course is 11 lakh. The college fees has yo be paid in 4 installments, at the time of admission we have to pay 4 lakh as initial installment and 3 equal installments further.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the college comes under the merit list of all banks in list B category which allows us to avail loan at cheaper rate. I have availed the loan facility through Sbi bank where I was charged with the spread of only 1% which makes it to the interest rate of 9%.
Campus Life
They are pretty good as our college have team for every sport and college organises the travel to other colleges as well to participate in sports activity. We have visited to IIM kashipur and IBS Gurgaon.
Alumni/Alumna
The college organises the alumni connect activity in which the alumni comes to college and share their experiences in corporate world and help in guiding us to achieve what we want. They are very helpful and stay connected with us after meeting in college.
Admission
First criteria to get shortlisted is through cat examination where the minimum requirement was 83 percentile after that shortlisted students have to go through group discussion, written ability test and personal interview and the final selection took place.
Faculty
As I am into finance, finance faculty is pretty good but the marketing and operations are at par. There are 2-3 teachers in every field who have a great experience and are iim passouts. Faculty are not indulge in any other activities except from teaching they are conducted and managed by seniors.
