Kousalya's Review On Andhra Loyola College - [ALC], Vijayawada

The best rated college of Andhra Pradesh. Every parent in Vijayawada wish to educate their children in this college but it looks a bit harder for the students who are studying there. It is for those who want to study there and is life time memory for the passed outs.

Course curriculum here is very unique. As it is an autonomous college we have our own syllabus and exam timings. We will have two semesters each year. each semester will have two mins semester examinations and one internal lab exam and one external lab exam.

Every year we will have off campus and as well as on campus placement interviews before the last semester. In our college we do have internship programme but not for all the groups . We have a seperate placement section where the students will trained specially for interview skills before the college timmings .

In our college we will celebrate every occasion but some are so special. The very regular one's are the college day and sports day. The special days are ethnic day and spoorthy . Ethnic day a special day which is especially celebrated in our. it is a day of culture. in our college we have students from different ends of the country . On this day Every student will come to college in their own traditional way of attire. and students in group will arrange different food stalls and the bet will be rewarded. spoorthy is the name our cultural fest. celebration of joy and hunt of talent. On this day students will be allowed to present their special talents and the best from each category will be rewarded.

Fee in our college is different for different departments . AIDED sections will have a low range of fee and UN-AIDED sections will have Abit expensive fee. sections like visual communication will have to bear alot for they'll have most expensive infrastructure.

Our college students can get regular scholarship which is provided by government through application. Apart from that every year on the day of our anniversary students who stood first in department wise will be awarded with cash prize. and also students with special achievements will get rewards.

Andhra Loyola college is well know for the extra curricular activities. NCC is the best which I have taken place and and got selected for republic day camp which is conducted at Delhi every year. I have successfully completed the competition that camp in the year 2018 by winning the best cadet award in my category. Coming to sports . we have all the different kinds of sports and grounds here with an instructor for each sport. our students have participated in national level completions and won many awards. One boy even got selected for pro kabaddi from our college.our staff is very particular about imparting practical knowledge to the students so they will be so cautious about about the labs.

I'm not a hostller. Though I have visited our hostel merely. All the students are very satisfied with the infrastructure. we have a total of 4 different hostels . 3 for boys and one for girls. food is bit unlikely. Coz they will have menu for a week . which will used for a year.

We do have a aluma network of our college in which we will knowing about all the events going on our college and also will be knowing about the job opportunities for passed out students .it very useful.

First of all I got the application and filled it up and submitted. After two days I got a message that I need to go to college with my previous education certificates and any other special certificates to attend the interview . after two days I went to college with my certificates took my interview in two phases and got seat.

All the faculty here are mostly senior faculty. some AIDED staff and some are UN-AIDED staff. but on an overview every member of staff urges every moment for the benefit of student and encourages student in every mean in order get completed education.
