6 semesters and the final sem for the project work, Undergraduate degree holds the very best curriculum method as every other university. The course is based upon the textbooks written by eminent scientists. These textbooks are easily available at the Amrita libraries as e-copies or as texts.

Our college provides internships for undergraduate and postgraduate students. If you have good contact with the faculties those who are doing researches at our college, you can easily be an intern under them. It is very much effective and worth our time. We'll get skillful at the end and will seed us with the thought of what to do next. Stipend options are ruled out except for doing it under certain faculties.

Placement opportunities are excellent, Students at Amrita get placed in different institutions in India and abroad. Amrita has tie-up with a lot of foreign universities and industries that the students graduated from Amrita spend their post graduate and doctoral studies at different institutions.

Events like Onam, Christmas, Deepawali, Ganesh chathurthi , Bharat matha pooja, etc are celebrated with lots of events and great joy. Most of the Hindu festivals are celebrated here and gives the students a pleasant chance to attend everything and spend the vibe of Indian cultural events. Amma's Bday is celebrated for one week and all the students get chances to participate in programs and sevas and can add credits to their scores.

The fee structure for Bsc programmes depends upon the course taken . For biotechonology, being an expensive field amrita school of biogechonolgy holds average economical structure and is feasable to the students.

The college offers student exchange programs in the final year of your course and will help the students to travel abroad to good universities and continue their works there. They also offer other scholarships. Loan facilities are available.

Labs at Amrita are worth mentioning. They are equipped with modern technologies, and machines of the latest trend. A lot of extracurricular activites are encouraged here including yoga, football, dance clubs, music clubs, cricket, basketball, volleyball, handball, athletics, swimming, etc.

The hostel infrastructure and faculties are very excellent. The buildings are worth the vibe of the students. It provides enough space for the students and the faculties and wardens are friendly. Food at Amrita is healthy and hygienic

Amrita keeps track of alumni students and they call upon them on a special day where they can interact with students about their experiences here at Amrira and the places where they are working. Senior students are very helping and the campus is free of ragging.

The undergraduate degree has got 6 semesters, 5 semesters of theory and labs plus the last semester, a project work. Each sem consists of 2internals and the end sem exam. Questions are application-based rather than direct. Some exams are done online.

After the 12th, I was planning to do my Bsc in Microbiology. I found out Amrita school of biotechnology will be my best option for this course. I applied for my admission through their site, amrita.edu. They enlisted my name based on my 12th mark. Later they called upon me for the interview and I got selected.

Faculties at Amrita are very friendly and student supportive. They help in inculcating us with not only education but also with their life lessons, values, and cultural ideologies. Most of the faculty are professors and spending our time with them is worth it.
