As i have discussed that 50% faculties are from south. So, they are very strict towards their role. On doing masss bunks they call for parents to come for parents meeting. Even they call parents for shortage in attendences.

Course structure is quite good but AKTU change their syllabus year by year. Now this year , 1st year students have only 3 to 4 subjects and respective practicals. Labs are also frequent here. In ranking of lab facility , jss is one of the college who have appropriate instruments and machines which helps in practical knowledge for students.

Placements are good enough here, in mechanical engineering. Several bigcompanies had visited here like SAMSUNG HEAVY INDUSTRIES LTD. ISGEC HEAVY INDUSTRIES LTD. BYJUS JARO EDUCATION TECHNIP FMC TORRENT POWER NIGANIA STEELS etc.

Two fess are held in a year here. One is ZEALICON ,which is cultural fest of this college. 500+ events are held in week during march. And second one MYTHRI , which is sports fest which is held in the November month. Besides this, several technical events like HACKATHON also held for CS and it branchs.

Fee structure per year is around 1.2 lakh Which is a quite feasible for me in view of private college. For hostel fee it is something 80000 to 100000 per year. For economic weaker students scholarships also provided.

Scholarship are provided, but not from college . It is provided by UP government. For obc and minorities separate extraa scholarship are also distributed here. For general category students, in 1st year they will not get any scholarship amount. But they will get their scholarship from 2nd year onwards.

For extracurricular , college spend their time for some industrial visits. For gender ratios ,as i am mechanical student so there are around 16 girls for 190 students. Cultural societies are there which do their events in time to time like yantrashilp , yantrapatra these are core mechanical societies. Also wega and octavius, these are automotive socites which made cars for racing.

As i am a day scholar. So i have not any experience about hostel . But i have heared from friends that mess food is not good. They mostly order their food from outside restaurants. I have also heard that hostel rooms are good. There are separate hostels for boys and girls.

Time to time alumnis are come in respective branches to indroduce themselves. Yes they are helpful to provide information about right path which we have to choose. I got affected an alumni which is currently placed in mahindra & mahindra .

Admission is done on the basis of UPSEE counseling allotment, and also can be done through management quota. I have got admitted for b.tech mechanical engineering with rank of 20978 in UPSEE 2016. In 3rd round i have got electrical engineering. But in 5th round i got mechanical engineering.

Faculties are well qualified and mostly faculties are doing phd from IITs and NITs. As jss is the branch college of JSS university,mysore. So, it have almost 50% faculties from south. As they don't speak in hindi. Some students can face problems to got them.
