College review

The college is good as it balances both education and student enhancment but I think it should focus on education more. The faculty are nice but not strict which I think is a drawback. The attendance system should be improved or should be strictly followed.

Umm.. The course we study is passed by CSVTU. In my opinion the course of bachelor of engineering lags behind or I should say is older than other state Universities. We have the major content but I feel we have a tough competition fighting other state students in competitive exams and else.

Umm. Actually I don't think so our college provides internship although they have many ties to organisation and companies which provide internship. And the stipend they provide and all the other information will be given by the respective companies.

Our college offers placements & job opportunities at a success rate of around 50-70% every year. I must say most of students get job opportunities every year. The average package is around 3-4lakhs and the highest package has gone upto 12-16lakhs (I don't remember the exact numbers).

There are number of event celebrated through out the year. Like Vishwakarma Pooja, freshers party(for 2nd year students), footbal cup, cricket cup, various sports tournament, hackathon, farewell party. Then we have a main event called SAMVID which is super cool. It is a 3day event with full enjoyment and awesomeness.

The fee structure is feasible. Per semester fee is around ?36000/- and you can also get a scholarship if you are SC/ST/OBC. The hostel charges are ?55000 per year for the first year student and low for senior students.

Not college but the university offers scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students which they can avail by giving their caste documents and income certificate of their parents to the college. The students can apply for education loan from banks but our college doesn't avail that.

So we have plenty of laboratories as required for the course. For extracurricular activities college provides fund and also reach for the students who are interested in them. Also there is industry visits so that students can learn more and more.

The first year students are totally separated from senior students. Every room's capacity is 4, and has attached toilet and bathrooms. For senior students they have separate hostel which very huge. You can have room's of capacity 2,3 and 4. The mess is connected of both hostels and the food quality is same as any other hostel.

If you are a fresher don't be afraid at all of the seniors as the freshers are full isolated from seniors. Freshers and seniors have different buildings, hostel and also different schedule. You will meet the seniors in 2nd year and they are pretty helpful if u ask anything to them.

So the year starts in July-august , there are total 4years ( 8 semesters). You have weekly Monday tests which will be conducted on different subjects as per your course. Then you have 2 class tests according to the schedule. Then in the end you have your finals/ End semester exams.

I got admission through CGPET. So first of all there are 2 options to get admission in this college. You can give JEE mains and also CGPET (entrance exams). After qualifying certain marks you can apply for counseling and choose SSTC as your first priority and your desired branch. After counseling you get results in few weeks in which if you get that college you can take that counselling document to the college and get admission.

Our college has very hardworking faculties and most of them are highly qualified. We have plenty of faculties for each subject and there are enough lab assistants for practicals. Some of the faculties try very hard for there students to succeed.
