Remarks
Positive- A college for knowledge seeking students. Can achieve whole lot of new things and will definitely have practical knowledge. Negative- No one loves to mention about negatives about their college but I would say if they encourage extracurricular activities then that’s enough.
Course Curriculum Overview
It’s a semester system.Each year has got 2 semester each and thus for 4 years it’s 8 semesters.It definitely helps student to cope up with stress as instead of studying bulk syllabus at the end of year you get to break into two.
Internships Opportunities
No. Our college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru technological university,Anantapur,Andhra Pradesh. But for pharma.d students they do internship from the hospitals they go for case studies. The internship period is 1 year for them.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college is quite a bit good as their are few companies that conduct placements in our college every year like Apollo pharmacy, Divis laboratories etc. Other companies often visit but it depends upon the placement incharge on how he/she brings them.
College Events
Our college has organised many events and which include international conferences. College day is celebrated every year after end of each academic year which is held at grand. International conference was held twice when I studied their i.e conducted alternate year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
You don’t have pay high fee if you get seat through entrance exam i.e EAMCET. For b.pharmacy the fee is 40k per annum and you pay 8k per annum if you get a seat. For management seat the fee is forty thousand.
Fees and Financial Aid
There’s no scholarship/ loan offers by college. If you are a minority or a children of armed personal you can avail scholarship through their respective admin. If you are none of above you can’t get anything.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are important but as it’s a private college they don’t encourage us to play around in the ground. Sports and games are played like lunar eclipse. Labs are a parts and parcel of daily schedule.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel for boys is alloted only for 1st year only. After that you have to look fir rented houses or rooms. For girls you get hostel facility for whole duration. When asked about hostel infrastructure it was said that it’s quite average.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. Seniors and junior relationships in our college are too strong. Theirs not even a single chance of ragging. After they are graduated they are very much helpful in guiding us very much in every possible manner.
Exam Structure
Main exams are conducted twice a year because each year compile of 2 semester. It’s fixed that each subject has 5units so for each semester you need to study all 5 unit hence for a year we have 10 units a whole.
Admission
I’ve made into the college by qualifying entrance exam named EAMCET which stands for engineering agriculture and medical common entrance test. The qualifying marks are around 40 of 160. Based on rank obtained you get seat.
Faculty
Teaching and non-teaching staff both have friendly nature and they always look forward to help students. Teaching staff(most of them) have ph.d in their field. They bring up all possible technique to help student learn and prosper.
