Too much of strike and gherao by the students, voice raising, needs to improve canteen food quality and tender must be changed. Much more exposure should be provided to the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Research-driven and exam structure is a semester system with 15 marks internal exam and 35 marks written exam for each paper. Oral as well as written exam is being done so that the students excel in both the fields.results are displayed on the notice board after each semester exam.
Placement Experience
No placement scenario, You need to give exams, pass the college and search for your own job. Only the benefit is the brand 'Presidency' associated with you.
College Events
College fest(Mileu), 3 freshers party. One dept level, next students SFI union host for fresher students and a grand one bye the winning union IC. Apart from that teachers day, sports festival, 20th Jan foundation day, Holi, durga puja, etc are celebrated
Fee Structure And Facilities
Per semester for arts, it was rs 1200 for masters for the batch 2017-2019 And for graduation, it was rs 1100/semester for the batch of 2014-2017.
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome, different places to hang out.infrstructure is best,3-4 canteens of different rates, Gender equality is the well seen, Labs are modern, debates are the band on, seminars are also hosted every week or two for students interaction.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni association serve there best for the institution. Seniors are very helpful whether they have passed out the college or not they will help u with just a phone call.
Faculty
Faculty are good for each department. Students are free to ask many questions as they want to clear their doubts. Very friendly staff and fellow students. Staffs are very helpful for all matters. Students can directly have a conversation with the V.C if required.
