My college offers very good opportunity to the students to experience and learn new and different things, I am learning a lot while studying at AIMS and we get a chance to meet well renowned scientists from across the world who visit AIMS for professional reasons

Placement Experience

Though there are many good placement options available after completing MBBS but most of the students prefer to go PG courses from here only. But once you have cleared your MBBS from AIIMS Delhi, you can easily get a job at any private medical college with attractive pay scale.

Hostel Facilities

AIMS has many hostels for both UG and PG students, which are located at a convenient location. The life in hostels allows the students to utilize their time while studying in library and by acquiring new skills that can help in getting experience.

Admission

AIMS takes students for MBBS course every year through a competitive entrance examination and I also gave the exam to get qualified for studying MBBS course here. Getting admission in AIIMS is one of the best things that can happen to you as AIMS is the most prestigious colleges in India.

You have to crack neet ug . Cut off of year 2024 is 660 which is higher than expected this year. Teachers are very supportive and seniors are the god for the juniors and their is nothing like ragging in this college

My honest thoughts

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college curriculum is relevant to our course in this field we save lives of many patients which influenced me the most that's why I always wanted to become a doctor. After the inter introduction of clinical posting we get early exposure to the patients which prepare us for real word application of our knowledge. Time to time exams are conducted here to test are abilities and areas and subjects so that we can improve in that particular field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Attendance criteria is 75 percent it should be reduced More practical based ques should be asked in the exam and more emphasis on practical knowledge should be done. Proper class test of each subject should be conducted. We have yearly based exams.

Placement Experience:

We get a stipend internship of 17000 per month and after the internship, if u have a bond then u get 5 yr compulsory service under the government of which u get a salary of 70000-80000 per month. You can post in hilly areas.

Faculty : student varies from department to department and year to year.Around an average of 150 students an average of 5 faculty (30:1), Faculties are renounced, doctors. Exams dates are already scheduled for the given semester, it is medium difficult.

HIMS mbbs college(dehradun) review

Remarks:

The college is excellent in terms of studies and reputation. It is renowned college of the state and being medical college, the patient inflow is also high. The teachers are excellent. However there is not much attention given to cultural activities and sports.

Perfect place for quality education

Remarks:

Apart from the fee structure the rest facility in the college is nice. Education is good quality and hospital facility is also nice. Life in college is decent and the extra corricular activities are also ediquate.

As such college is nice. On educational basis it is superb. But others activities are very less organized. No events. No trips.
