Remarks
I completed my B.Sc Chemistry from Government College, Malappuram. I enjoyed the whole education period there. The teachers taught us amazing methods and skill, also preparing us as good chemists, which helped us later on at the job. The department has been constantly producing exceptional academic results. The college also engages departments in extensive activities like soil testing, water analysis, Open House programmes and many more. Rest assured, you will surely get a memorable experience from this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
This college is affiliated to the University of Calicut and strictly follows its prescribed syllabus and guidelines. The syllabus is quite tough and needs to be studied on a regular basis. The examinations are held semester wise, and internal examinations are also held by the college, to assess students’ preparation for semester exams. Class tests are also taken by teachers timely.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for this college is very much feasible. The fee for my B.Sc Chemistry was around Rs. 6200, which is quite low as per the facilities, industry exposure and education provided by the college to us here.

Campus Life
The college is invested in curricular activities as much as academics and hosts most of the sports events. The college is also famous for its notable Hockey team as most of its former members are now playing for Army, Indian Railway and other prominent teams. The college has a pretty big and well-equipped library with a wide variety of books available
Admission
The intake of students in this college to all courses is though CET(Central Entrance Test) followed by the merit list, seats are allotted in three processes. I secured a good CET score, which made me into the merit list of this college, and I enrolled for B.Sc Chemistry under Government College, Malappuram. All seats in this college are filled through merit basis only. The eligibility for CET is Higher Secondary Education from the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent with Science as a mandatory subject. The students need to be from science stream if anyone wishes to take admission in this college.
Faculty
The faculty is composed of skilled and talented chemists with a great sense of responsibility and tries to put that into their students too. They always try their best to provide students with all types of knowledge possible for them to share with students. Most of the faculty are either PhD holders or have Masters in their respective subjects and are always trying new and interactive methods of teaching, to help students learn better and more.
