Remarks

positively speaking their maintenance, staffs rules are good and infra structure very much good even many movie shootings are taken in our college but what negative is academic fee for MBBS students are high.

Internships Opportunities

yes of course here they provide internship and also provide plenty of patients to practice but make sure not as much as government college and talking about stipend it is very much less than other colleges.

Placement Experience

3.5

it depends on students and not about college, all the students must clear PG NEET to eligible for next course but if someone says studied on Chettinad they have some higher job opportunity in private hospitals.

College Events

3.5

Every year they conduct Intercollege and intracollege fusion, and for every department separate functions were held it is supportive for studies also, and sports were held along with fusion and every event is held in big auditorium

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure is very high because of Deemed university all deemed college have same range of fees, students must be paid more than 20 lakhs per year also for internship and separate fees for hostel and transport

Fees and Financial Aid

i am not know about any loan facilities offered by our college i think it is not avail there and no other scholarships are available only students must be paid for management not the management for students.

Campus Life

4

library, sports, lab activities are always welcome by our college it is always available for all students, separate workers and staffs are appointed for maintaining in proper way good to have all those things.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

hostel is neat and clean always workers and wardens are available at any time no power problem but what negative is they are asking more than 2 lakhs per year for Mbbs students i think food is good but not worth for that money

Alumni/Alumna

seniors are helpful to their students by talking about seniors ragging is always minded but the management and also medical council has follow the strict rules to avoid ragging even though seniors are helpful

Exam Structure

It is considered to be separate university all the exams held only by this Chettinad university based on their own questions and corrected both by internals and externals and no way for cheating in the exams they will be punished

Admission

through NEET enterance exam, and apply for Deemed university, if you got the college they will call you and no other criteria is required because all the medical college in India follow this system to select students.

Faculty

3.5

all the teaching staffs are well trained, of course some departments has some not properly trained staffs but by comparing other colleges here it is better some are awesome at teaching and some are careing also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
