Overall the college is nice and decent and frankly speaking you can't compare the college with IIT's and NIT's because you will get that only for what you have studied and how much grades you have obtained. It's not at all a waste of time you can achieve great heights by passing out of the galgotia college so go and work hard for it.

I liked the course curriculum of the university and the way the college taught it to the students is also good. The college focuses on both theoretical and practical knowledge of the students. They take regular class tests or quizzes or aptitude tests to enhance overall development of the students brain .

Ya , college do provide internships during the semester breaks but as I was a day scholar so it was not beneficial to me as internships requires a deep practical performance which was tiring. If you opt for Hostel then surely it will benefit you. And the internships are majoring in every field or branch that you ask for. Mine was in automation and matlab . I also didn't receive any stipend.

Placements are pretty good and fancy packages are being offered average package is around 3.2 Lpa . Many big IT giants and Mnc's visit the college for placements . If you pass the basic criteria of every company that visit the campus mostly if you have 60% above overall then you are confirmed 100% placed I can promise you that. So try to get the best and study hard for that. And importantly do also understand the topic . Don't just cram that before one day of the exam.

1. Freshers party 2. Major festivals like holi , diwali , Christmas party . 3. There is a college fest every year. Which also have a celebrity night. During my graduation celebrities like neha kakkar, guru randhawa, john abhram , varun dhawan, jacline fernandez, mankirit aulakh etc. was invited to perform . 4. Farewell party 5. Sports day. 6. Independence and republic day. And many more events . Some educational fests and job fair etc.

At my time the fees was 1.2 lakh per year . You can check the latest fee structure at the college website www.galgotiacollege.edu I think the fees is at par from other semi government and private colleges. If you took hostel then it will cost you 70-90k per year.

Yes. The college provided a scholarship that will refund you upto 75% of your college fees. But you have to apply for the scholarship in advance and it also requires many documentation. They criteria for the scholarship changes every year so please contact the college for that.

The college consists of Computer labs , recreational labs, electronics lab etc. There are labs and workshops related to every branch . In sports college have basketball, football field, cricket ground , volleyball court, T.T, gym, badminton , race course , auditorium, and a huge library which are open even on the weekends. And all many canteen outlet as nestle, tops , etc.

Hostel are in the campus only there are hostels for both boys and girls . And they also have mess for both boys and girls . Hostel have both Ac and non Ac rooms . The hostel also consists of gym, basketball court, badminton courts , T.T , etc.

First a fall there is no ragging in the campus or outside the campus area. All the students are required to fill and sign the affidavit against ragging every year. The network with the senior students are extremely helpful they provide you with knowledge and notes.

Majorly there are 2 semester examination in 1 year each for a semester very are called as Externals. And during the semesters the college also take internal exams like unit tests twice per semester. So that you don't have to study all at once at the end. And the internals do carry marks .

I got admission here through Counselling round that happened on the basis of the Entrance Exam conducted by the university called UPSEE. I got rank around 30k so I got Electronics and Instrumentation branch in the counselling round.

The faculty of the college is highly qualified , almost all the professors are doctorate in their respective fields . They support the students . I have my self seen professors even provides video lectures and pdf notes except from the classroom studies to the students.
