Remarks

The college is an extremely good college for civil engineering. It provides you with all the facilities and equipments you need for a proper study of the subject. It also facilitates a good infrastructure and everything a student needs.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum stretches over three years with six semesters in it. You have to sit for two semesters a year. The course revolves around every aspect of civil engineering with lots of practical work and workshops.

Placement Experience

There are placement opportunities provided by the college from the very start of second year. Placement programs are held often with various big companies coming in looking for freshers. You can crack it by performing well in college as well as the interview.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very affordable and feasible for every student. With the facilities it provides, it is quite worth paying it. The fees is to be paid twice a year before the semesters. It is not that expensive and everyone can afford it mostly.

Admission

You are eligible to apply for the course on having an aggregate of 35% or above in 10th standard. You can apply online from their website. You are selected based on your merit, higher your marks, higher are your chances of getting in.

The faculty of the civil engineering department is very well experienced, both in the field and studies. With their overall experience and knowledge, they provide you with the best guidance. They are always up to solve any doubts.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is average over all. 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are Tata motors, Tata steel, Nathcorp etc. The highest package is 6.5L and average is 3.5L as per profiles offered. 60-70 % students getting placements.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
