JUST A GREAT ONE

No bad remarks till now and I think there wouldn't be any even after 2 years.

I would say, technologically, we people feel esteemed enough to stand out of the crowd. We have a great industrial exposure right from the 1st year and that boosts our confidence levels when we enter work life. We follow JNTU-H curriculum because we are not autonomous yet and the course curriculum is the same as the syllabus on JNTUH but the teachers teach very well. We are encouraged to read textbooks rather than all-in-one guides.

Placements are great. I mean we have good packages and we hope to count on better ones every year. There are mentorships by amazon, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Flipkart and our seniors have also been a part of Women Engineers program by google. Most of us are driven towards open-source contributions and we also have a differentiating training program called Women In Software Engineering.

We have TechFest and j-hub hackathons organised on the campus. There also many other hackathons like smart-bridge IBM hackathon which were previously organised in the campus. There are also cultural fests during Dussehra and Sankranthi. We celebrate engineers day and mathematics day. Apart from this, we had a peer-counselling event recorded under the ASIA book of records.

I didn't opt for any but the college offers money when travelling for any conferences/ events by representing the college. Also, we are awarded a cash prize for the most promising engineer and also when we do well at academics. Apart from this every year the best ranker among the first is awarded a cash prize.

We have soo many clubs that organise some workshop or the other most of the times and it is great that we all enjoy participating..in most of them. Labs are a part of the schedule and we follow it to the point. We have a running track bb-court and outdoor badminton courts and none of them is found empty after college hours during the college hours also we are specially allotted time for club activities 6 hours a week apart from that any other workshops we are always encouraged to go.

Our alumni are lovely. I guess it is very rare to find people who are just little elder to us guide us that nicely. We organize alumni meets frequently and also get to interact with them whenever required like to understand how things worked for them when they were in the same year as us or how they kicked started a career in the same domain that we are going to choose.

My dad's colleague's daughter has passed out of one of BVRIT-Narsapur sheltered under the same society. They have given good reviews for the women's' campus too so since it is in the city I prioritized it while applying for online-counselling through TSEAMCET.

Good faculty, they are strict & understanding at the same time. Not only do they teach our course but they also guide, correct us for every club in our college we have a faculty in charge who coordinates the club activity timings with our timetables. There is also a faculty counselling session.
