My college review

I think I have told everything about my college above that includes both positive as well as negative.One thing I would like to tell is if you are getting electrical/mechanical/civil/Telecom then please don't join this college.

I feel the course curriculum of my college is very outdated,it's never been changed from the past 10 years ,we have internals and externals, internals are of 40 marks and externals are of 100 marks that is sorted to 60,we have to give three internals and the average is calculated out of the three.

Placements are quite decent,I'm the placement coordinator so I have quite some idea about the placements, although placement for mech,civil students are difficult in my college because there aren't many core companies related to them coming in our college,no college doesn't provide any internship opportunity.

Our college has two major events both in odd sem ,one is the ethnic day Verve and the other intra college fest Kalanjali , Kalanjali is held for two days ,we have many department fests like Telecom has Aadhar.

The fee structure for students out of Karnataka is a bit on expensive side if you compare it with local ones because for local ones the fee is around 50k per year and for comedk people it's around 2 L per year.

No I haven't heard of this scholarship.but I have heard that students from Jammu used to get some scholarship and even some local guys who are very poor are given scholarship,then there is govt scholarship for family whose income is less than 1.5 L per annum.

Our college lacks a bit in these, although we have cricket ground, football ground, basketball court but the turnout remains quite low always ,sports is not taken that important in our college.Our college has dance teams and drama club that I think is pretty nice.

Hostel infrastructure is pretty nice and food is quite decent as well as compared to other colleges in Bangalore our hostel is cheap and better than them.we have 24*7 electricity as well as water supply plus food is served four times a day.

Alumni are generally very helpful they always asks us for any doubts and they often visit college for some tech speeches and meetups. They tell us and guide us on what to do and what all stuffs will help us in placements.

I had to give the examination of COMEDK which stands for consortium of medical engineering and dental colleges of Karnataka,if you want to study in Karnataka this exam is very important for people outside Karnataka,after the test marks and rank is calculated and then after counseling we can chose college based on our rank.

Okay it's a very tricky question ,there are some faculties in my college who you would like to admire but there are some who really doesn't know how to teach ,so yeah it's a mix of good and bad.there are some teachers which force you to do some interesting projects and there are some who don't even care , mechanical faculties in my college is rather strict
