My College

The positive remark is that we are been given all the facilities that most of the university in Gujarat does not give to their students. The negative remarks is that some of the faculties(which are not good at teaching) are not being changed and they are taking our core subjects. Other one will be taking exams very early than other universities.

Course curriculum is almost same as it is in every college. Aur exam structure is like we have two internal and one external. Internals are of 30 marks and external is of 70 marks. Marks of quizzes, presentations, vivas and practicals are also counted.

In our college very good companies like Byjus,TCS come for placements and yes our college provide internship from second year so that students can get a bit of experience till 4th year of working in companies.

In our college mainly two events are celebrated: 1) Spoural 2) Cognizance 1) Spoural It is celebrated in the month of January and in this event inter college (of our university) competitions are held. You can take part in sports,dance etc. 2) Cognizance It is celebrated in the month of September and in this event students can showcase their skills (of any college throughout the world) by taking part in the events held by college student. One of the famous event is RoboWar.

Our fees structure is normal as any of the college will have. But we have three quota 1) General 2) NRI 3) Management In general quota the fees are regular fees decided by the college. In management quota you have to pay around 10-15 thousand more. NRI quota fees are 3.5 lakhs which is very expensive.

Yes our college is providing scholarships. I ain't eligible for any of the scholarships. One of the scholarship is MYSY Scholarship which is only available for students whose parents annual income is less than 6lacs. And other one os only for Motti Sattavis Caste.

We have a very good facilities for extra-curricular activities as we have a huge ground to play sports and we have well equipped labs with each and every possible devices. One thing i specifically like is that this lavs are accessible to us after college hours also.

Yes our college has alumni network. Senior students are very friendly and helpful. They are always ready to help us on our assignments and Projects. I don't have any much details abt Alumni Association as I'm currently studying in 3rd sem.

As per your score in 12th standard your ACPC rank is declared by education board and every college intake students according to a range of ranks and if you fit in this range you can get admission. If you are not eligible in that range of ranks than a process called NRI admission is also applicable (but here the fees will be double).

To be very honest about faculty,we have a very good staff but some of the faculties(as usual in every college) are not that good. I think that more experienced faculty should be recruited and the faculties should be given the subject in which they are interested in.
