BCA at Christ University does not require any entrance exam. All you need is 60% and above in your 12th grade. BCA concentrates on software development. I want to get into the infotech, hence, BCA was my best choice.

At Christ University, the BCA syllabus are according to the current IT requirement. It is interdisciplinary i.e, has science, commerce and arts included. Maths becomes base of the syllabus as it is there for two semesters. Syllabus covers every basic topics of coding like c, c++, java, along with DBMS, computer networks, Oracle, Business intelligence, graphics, animation, mobile apps, statistics, accounts etc.

We have a placement cell that handles all the internships. There are internships available inside the campus as well as from outside companies through the college placement cell. Most of the internships come as a learning process, but we have got paid internships from Rs.6000 to 13000. We get a certificate end of the work which adds credit to us.

Like i said earlier, the placement cell handles all the work. We have many MNCs coming in every year, this year so far L&T, Wipro, E&Y, Facebook, cognizant, oracle, SAP etc had come and more than 18 students from my class got placed. with 3.5Lakhs as package. Some of them got a chance to study and work with Wipro.

UG course have "Interface" a national level IT fest conducted every year and have huge response from many colleges in the country. There is "Softex" to project the innovative minds, "Gateways" national level IT fest for PG courses. There are many corporate connects organised to get students closer to the IT field by giving a chance to interact with the IT professionals.

For a course like BCA, at Christ the fee is 70000. I would say it is feasible because we have every other colleges with 70000+ amount. With such a good syllabus, it's worth it. Plus, there are installment facilities, scholarships to support students.

Fee installment facility is available depending the fee structure for the course. Scholarships are given to the merit holders, to financially backward students, to students excelling in extra curricular, sports, NCC etc.

We have more than 15000 students in then main campus (Dairy circle). Gender ratio would be 1:3 girls and boys. But wouldnt matter much because in christ we dont see the gender. Friendship beyond gender. Also to mention, we have transgender students too. and they are treated equally. Christ university gives out the best exposures of cultural diversities, competitive environment with positive attitude. We have enthusiastic students who are ready to perform or compete anytime anywhere for flashmobs, sports etc
