Remarks

The management helps in the students problem but are a bit tight on the cash outflow. The security is taken care of with a good number of guards and CCTV's.

Entrance Preview

I took up CET examination to get into an engineering college and scored 75% in PUC with CET score being aroung 15450. The reason to opt for this college was it destination to city center. It was very near to my house and had some good places nearby.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is pretty difficult in the 2nd year but is well built up so the stress on the student is minimized.

Internships Opportunities

I went to BOSCH for internship which did not happen through college but through a referrel from a relative. The experience was awesome to say the least. The stipend was Rs 3000 per month along with food. Knew more about mechanical working in this company than my entire time in college.

Placement Experience

4

The placements happened due to pool campus and also some companies like Imfosys and wipro visited us. Though the companies for mechanical was very poor during my year it was made up by referrels by our lecturers. But overall when compared to other colleges it is average.

College Events

4

We had a college fest every year along with talent's day which was even more fun and enjoyable. Activities like bowling, slow riding on bike, singing, golf, table tennis, chess etc used to be the major draw. The fest was good with real good performance and celebrities visiting the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is the best part as everything is cheap. There is a schlorship program for poor students and the acoomodation is also cheap. Time is given to pay the fees and delays are permitted.

Fees and Financial Aid

My friends have taken scholorship which is given by the VTU for SC/ST's. This almost pays for the whole fees for engineering.

Campus Life

3.5

There are equal number of girls and boys in the college with participation in group discussions and debates happening during talent' s day. For workshops and industrial visit we were taken once a year in college bus to various factories around the college. Many students from different religion used to come here with all diversity equally respected.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The facilities in the hostels are average with routine scheduled food structure with pooris being the major draw. There are geysers for bathing and the flooring is mosaic. There are tables for study and a TV to watch for students. The are many shops aroun

Alumni/Alumna

We meet once a year at the college grounds and are in contact with lecturers. We also meet in parks and restaurants but that is for classmates only. The placement officer has our contact details and calls us for functions or fests through mail.

Exam Structure

The exam is scheduled by the VTU who conduct it once every 6 months to pass on to the next sem which would usually have around 6 subjects. The marks for each paper is 100 with an additional 25 for internals which used to happen thrice every semester and b

Faculty

4

The faculty is not as talented as in other colleges which i have come across. They really lack the depth in the subject to do their job. But there also some genuine lecturers in the maths department who know to do their job and solve problems.
