Remarks
College is really good in terms of Teaching, faculties, library and labs. Not much focus given in co-curriculum, even though the college has many active student clubs. Notable companies come for placement. But students need to work hard to be placed because of not much training given for placement. Overall it's a good college but not best.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are lots of theoretical aspects rather than practical knowledge. There will be three internals and one external to write the external examination you have to get minimum average set by the university in the internal exams, otherwise, you're going to disqualify for the external exam.
Placement Experience
The highest package is 14 LPA. There is a lot of job opportunities for people with programming skills. The number of IT companies is really good for BE not for MCA. But when it comes to core company the opportunities are really less. About the internship, our college does not provide any internships but as a part of the curriculum, we have to do an internship outside.
College Events
Technical events are very less in this college. But they conduct various activities like college fest, ethnic day etc. Our college has there own teams for many sports. There are cultural clubs, art club and many student clubs for various co-curricular activities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive for management students when compared to counselling student. Fees should be paid in a single instalment. As I joined through PGCET it was 80k per year whereas for management it was around 1.5 lakhs per year approximately and varies each year.
Fees and Financial Aid
CMR Janardhan trust scholarship is for the merit student. There are many other general scholarships which are provided by the government. Our college does not have there own scholarship. Epass is the most useful one.
Campus Life
Well equipped labs. A lot of extracurricular activities happen which each of the clubs in our college organises. Sports facilities are provided. Every year they conduct inter-college sports tournaments where different colleges from Bengaluru take part in different sports and then they also organise an inter-department sports tournament.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is huge filled with senior who now work in various domains. I would not say that they communicate frequently but it's not bad also. The seniors come to college during college fests, celebrations and for the events. Most of the time they guide us in terms of college necessities.
Admission
Through PGCET I took admission in this college. Once you get allotted for the college, the verification process takes place i.e. documents are verified. You need to pay 80k for a year in single instalment. If it's management seat then need to pay more.
Faculty
The faculties are good at a point. They are supporting And help us when it's needed. But I would some faculty rather than everyone. Some faculties expert us to be experts in everything when they themselves aren't. Not all faculty but few have no basic knowledge about the subject, other than that all other teacher are PhD holders and teaches well.
