IIIT Allahabad college is only good for you if want to become a coder and got interested in coding otherwise you will waste your 4 years just for nothing. Your cgpa and coding skills is only matter in the last.

Jee mains entrance exam covers mainly your 12th board syllabus ( *cbse board whole ) and exam has 90 multiple choice questions +4 for correct and -1 for every wrong answer. You got cut off according to your category and select your instituition based on your marks and rank you got.

Placements are very good compare to the private instituitions and the college provide internships on a good scale. In 2019 nearly 100 ( out of 300 total strength) students got internships with stipend between 40,000 to 2,00,000 for 2 months.

We have overall 3 big events and some small events and the following events are - Aproksha - as the technical event in which coding competition, robotic events and some gaming competitions are held. Effervescence-cultural event in which bollywood celebrity, kavi and some famous people all over India comes. Asmita- sports events ,all the IIITs participates and some competitions are held in anyone IIIT.

Fees structure in feasible ( 1,50,000 per year for 2 semester) if compare to other private btech instituitions and you can get scholarship if your family income is less than 2 lakh rupees IN U.P and you are S.T. and S.C category.

Yes you can get loan from bank as the college comes in A category means you can get loan without any thing or proof or papers to give to bank.There is UP scholarship get (30,000-60,000) , SC AND ST scholarship (50,000-1,00,000) and national scholarship (10,000)for any student.

Labs are very well maintained and infrastructured and sports have normally devloped but without coach and extracurricular activities are not so their in college all because students are less in college as it is a IIIT so their is only 2 branch IT AND ECE.

There are 8 hostels 5 for boys ( outside campus) and 3 for girls( inside campus) and infrastructure is good compare to old IIIT and IITs and are different for every 8 buildings according to there construction years. Faculties are not ok bathroom are dirty and mess food is the worst.

Alumni helps a lot in placements and internships because of them some companies come and mainly in internships companies come because of them. And senior and junior are good in this college no ragging activities are done and everybody help each other.

I got admission through JEE mains entrance exam that's held in April every year and you have to answer 90 multiple choice questions and got score out of 360 (i get 200), according to my marks i got ece department in IIIT Allahabad through councelling held in 7 rounds and 1 special round.

Faculties are PhDs and Mtech from mostly IIIT, NIT, IITs and highly reputed college of India. Got deep knowledge in the subject of their research and what they teach to students and researchers. You can opt for study abroad by their letter of recommendation.
