Remarks
The positive thing is in academic wise the college do the faculty support in every side in case of academics. But in sports kinda thing the management doesn't do well that is the only drawback of the college
Course Curriculum Overview
The college have ten courses including marine engineering.The college is autonomous which means it has its own syllabus which is quite similar to Anna University syllabus.The exam papers are evaluated in the college itself because it has autonomous privelege.Each semester has six papers total of eight semester and 48 papers.
Placement Experience
The placements are quite good. In past few the number core companies placements is reduced.but the arrival IT companies placements are improving and students got placed.the major companies coming for recruitments are Zoho, HCl , TCS , CTS ,xobing, etc
College Events
The major events are department symposium which is conducted in national level and lots of events will be there in that.and next things is cultural which is conducted once in a year which is quite dull. Because the college doesn't encourage that much enjoyment
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure pretty much lesser than other private colleges , they provide scholarship for student who have low financial status , funds will be provided. Middle class parents can afford. But lower level can't do that.
Fees and Financial Aid
Student loan is offered by the college which is very useful for the Student. They can repay the loan after four years after graduating from the college. scholarship upto 50000 provided for the selected candidates.
Campus Life
The college supports extra curricular activities such as nss , NCC , sports like cricket , basketball and other games. Every semester students have atleast two labs. That is primary.They should also attend exam for the lab.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes , the senior students and alumni were very helpful and supportive to the juniors they guide them in all aspects. And they recommend the bright candidates to their company helping them with projects and everything
Admission
I finished High school and I submitted those certificates to Tamil nadu engineering admission , Anna University. And I attended the counselling and chose Sri Venkateswara college of engineering which is affiliated to Anna University. And I joined the college.
Faculty
The faculty are friendly , supportive to the enhancement of the Student. They also guide the Student to be disciplined and to be perfect in all aspects.The faculty in our college have an average experience of 15 years.
