Positive: Good academic Affordable and cheap transportation and food. 2 nd best colledge in state Good infrastructure Good social life Negative: Gwalior city is not so friendly and riots and clashes are always seen on streets. Campus size to students ratio is less.mits has campus size of 45 acres only.

Collede is affiliated to RGPV- Bhopal,as MITS is government autonomous colledge ,it follows flexible curriculum and degree is offered under 4 year long b-tech programme, course runs along 8 semesters and( end-sem) exams followed by 3 mid-sem exams (2 compulsory) with final practical and various quiz and assignment.

MITS has a great placement and training cell which prepares student for professional interview and task.Around 30+ companies recruit students of all branches. MITS has average 70% placement with average package of 350,000 INR p/a. Placements of CSE/IT branch are 85% with average of 400,000 INR p/a. Yes , colledge do provide internships with average stipend of 5000 INR per month.I m a first year student so no internship offers are offered for freshers.

Annual event like mitswah,syahi, and various technical , festive , social , academic , skill development events are held in college , in addition to never ending events organized by various clubs(photography,music,dance,art,sports etc) and societies (iete,iste,tec etc) of college. Many NGOs and social camps organize events to upbring the youth to serve to society and environment, mass blood donation ,plantation are held every year.

Being an government autonomous colledge , it is bit expensive than other government colledge in states. An average academic fees per course is 3.5 lakh INR. But it is cheaper than other private colledge. For a middile class person it is affordable and various scholarship programs and fee- waivers are offered as per govterment norms.so MITS is affordable colledge and it is ranked 2 best government colledge in (M.P)

extracurricular activities are at their best at MITS ,Annual event like mitswah,syahi, and various technical , festive , social , academic , skill development events are held in college , in addition to never ending events organized by various clubs(photography,music,dance,art,sports etc) and societies (iete,iste,tec etc) of college. Labs are equipped with average equipment and machines. And each department have ther separate well equipped labs. Sports are moment of joy as Annual cricket ,footsal,football, badminton , chess , athletics ets are held in and out of college with state level competition.

Senior student are always helping hands to juniors. They are always at doorstep for issues related to health , academics and extra curricular activities.I have no connection with alumini. Still i heard they had been helping for juniors.

I cleared my jee mains-2019 and common merit list was generated.A separate list for state was uploaded.after filling counseling form and uploading choices of colledge and courses after locking choice through several round of mpbe-dte counseling(state level counseling) rounds i was alloted Information Technology(I.T.) @ MITS.

Faculty @ MITS is average with Maximum teachers holding their masters and some pursuing doctoral.Faculty is experienced at teaching and offers various platforms and tasks for academic enhancement.generally teaching at colledge is not taken seriously as many students practice for other post graduation exams n jobs.
