It's is VTU scheme following college I feel the syllabus is old and it's very strict. College campus is good. They demand fees for parking and TYL which I feel is scam. The college has a very big library and peaceful atmosphere.
Course Curriculum Overview
It follows VTU scheme.EC and CS course has good value in cmrit. placement for EC and CS is more as compared to other departments. Exams are conducted properly. examination sqaud comes for checking the students.
Placement Experience
Placement are good. Many different companies come for placement.upto 30 lack package company comes. Placement for EC and CS is more compared to other departments. Telecommunications branch also has good placement. They do provide internship.companies conduct exams for internship.
College Events
Many events are celebrated in cmrit. Ethnic day. Has a separate college fest in which a special guest comes it goes on for 2 days. Students organise different events for different festival. There r many competitions conducted like dance singing etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The people who have joined the college through KCET the fees structure is actually good and feasible. For others who have joined through COMEDK the fees is quite expensive. And additional fees such as training program are also added.
Fees and Financial Aid
Kpass scholarship is available.SC / ST scholarship. PM scholarship for students whose father is ex service men in defence. And loan facilities r available but its a very length process. College provides additional scholarship based on marks.
Campus Life
Labs are conducted properly.all the equipment are provided. Proper instructions are given before the lab. Lab instructors are there to help u out if required. The college has a big ground , basketball court ,Table tennis , volleyball court etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are good when it comes to helping in project. And they r very supportive during the placements as well. And it's a decent and good environment in CMRIT. They r helpful is at all we need something.
Admission
KCET I secured 16k rank. In 3rd round I got CMRIT college. then I have to do document verificationin KCET office.pay KCET fee and college fee.It follows VTU scheme so we have to fill the details in system.then document has to be submitted to college.
Faculty
Faculty are good.well experienced.some faculties r not that great.but they do guide us properly. They r very supportive. They are interactive. They are available in social media through which documents and assignment are easily sent.
