A good college with variety of courses from every field

There are many positives which I mentioned above. It is more important to mention one of the negatives of this college that is it is far from the city and thus being in a remote area it is prone to network issues though the college provides 24x7 free WiFi.

Course curriculum followed here is carefully designed keeping in mind the competitive and practical world. Two types of exams are conducted per semester. My 3 year course has in total 6 semesters. Each semester comprises of internal (mid semester) and external (end semester) exams.

Placements and Job opportunities are quite good though they are still improving the list of companies approaching and packages offered by them. Yes, this college provide internships in many good companies by enrolling students for the interview with the company. Stipend depends from company to company.

College celebrates many events, each event hosted by a school.there are in total 14 schools. For example - Amity Business School organises Business events, Amity School of Technology organises Technicia etc. Annual events include Aminova and Sangathan.

Fee per semester are quite expensive. There are two categories of fees, one for the sponsored category which is often more, other is the no-sponsored category which is comparatively less. However, if a student is good in academics, college provides scholarships.

College provides scholarship to good academic performers. Scholarship of first year depends on the 12th percentage. Above 93% in 12th makes a student eligible for 100% Scholarship, 85-93% gets 50% and 75-85% gets 25% Scholarship. These scholarships can be continued on the next years if the academic performance does not drop.

College is well equipped with labs that are needed by each course such as physics, chemistry, biology labs, animation labs, computer labs etc. College has seperate grounds, equipment and courts for basketball, football, cricket, badminton, volleyball, handball, table tennis, lawn tennis, chess, carrom etc.

Hostel here accommodates around 3000 students. Separate hostel buildings for girls and boys. Rooms are well equipped and furnished with dorm system. 1 dorm has 3 rooms which accommodates 2 person each. There are common rooms with common TVs on each floor. Girls hostel is a 6 storey building whereas boys hostel is a 8 storey building. Medical, food, departmental store, sports, security etc facilities have made life easy here.

Yes, college organises alumni meets where we get to interact with them. Seniors are also quite helpful in all terms as they are more experienced. Infact orientation sessions and ice breaking sessions of the freshers are done by seniors so as to improve Interaction and friendliness among them.

I got admission through Merit i.e. direct admission, as my 12th percentage was above 93, I didn't have to go through the entrance exam and interview process. While filling the online form I received a popup message informing me about the same. Later I received a mail confirming my direct admission in the university.

Faculties here are mostly PhD holders and thus are experienced and very helpful at all times. There are two types of faculties, visiting and permanent. College has a well developed system of receiving feedback from each student for each teaching faculty at the end of each semester.
