UIET Review

Infrastructure of college is very bad.There are 4 buildings.The fans are also not working.Washrooms are so bad that we can't even go there.Washrooms are not clean.Lift facility in only in 1 building which is not working.

The course is divided into 8 semesters.In the first two semesters there are 6 subjects and after that 4 subjects in each semester.Subjects in first semester the subjects are Physics of waves oscillation and optics,Electronics And communication,Ethics amd self awareness,Introduction to IT,Mathematics,Programming in C.

Placement scenario is good.Companies like amazon,Dalloid,Godman Sachs come for placement.Microsoft comes for internships.Average package is around 7 lakhs per annum.Infosys and TCS are the mass recruiters.But some students remain unplaced.

There are many events celebrated in our college.Goonj is a cultural event celebrated every year in our college.Diwali and many other festivals are also celebrated in our college.Dj nights are organised during festivals.

The fees is Rs.90000 per annum.A little bit expensive.There is 2500 Rs charge for semester exams.The fees of college is little bit high as of cirriculum and infrastructure.Fees should be around 70000 Rs per annum.

Scolarships are provided for Economically weaker sections and SC/ST.Scolarships are also provided to students on merit basis.Scolarships are also provided on the basis of merit in 12th class.Scolarships are also provided by government.

Events are organised on regular basis.Sports events are organised by clubs and committees on regular basis.There are weekly labs.There are labs for 3 subjects programming,Physics and Electronics and communication.

They are very much helpful.They are placed in good companies.They tell us what to do and what not to do in these 4 years.Seniors and very helpful they provide us notes and previous year papers so that we can prepare for exams.

I got Admission in this college through JEE Mains Exam.I got 96.5 percentile and my All India Rank was 40224 So i got IT branch in this college.I registred in JAC chandigarh and in first round I got Electronics and communication branch then my branch got upgraded to IT in second round of counselling.

Most of the favilty members are on guest basis.Some faculty members are very good but some don't even know how to teach.Some members deliver lectures in a very casual way as if they are not interested in teaching.
