Remarks
The negative remark could be considered as no hostel facility is available for undergraduate students as such for now. But the construction of hostels has been started which would be completed in next two three years.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed in such a way that all over development of student is obtained. Students are taught not only technical but speaking skills, writing, economics and ethics also. The exam structure is divided into three parts first CE component, the LPW component and SEE component. The CE component covers the regular studies and it includes Class Test, Sessional exams and projects/assignment.While LPW component covers the Lab component and SEE component is the final semester end exam.
Placement Experience
The placements and Job opportunity are also good. 60 percent is the placement ratio and 85 percent is the ratio of students who want to take placement and got places. Internship is as such not provided by the college but various companies like amazon, Deutsche and endurance etc come to over internship.
College Events
There are both tachnical and cultural events carried out in the college. Various clubs of different branches also conduct events. The most popular events are Vaudeville which is the annual cultural fest which includes acting, dancing, singing and various other competitions. Also Nutech is the annual Technical fest conducted for all over Gujarat students in different colleges.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is somewhat expensive as compared to the IITs and NITs but in terms of education it's good. The per semester fee is around 90000 for Jee and Acpc quota students while 180000 for NRI quota students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there is a scholarship as well as loan facility available for the students. Students ranking good in Jee exams are given scholarship while there admission is once confirmed. Also students whose parents earn less than 6lakh per annum are provided with scholarship facility on the condition of 7.5 gpa in every semester.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities include various competition both inter college and intra college competition in sports as well as studies. The labs are well equipped with latest equipment and softwares. Nirma university holds a record for having best equipment all over Gujarat.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is starting to develope through a portal accessible by all Nirma university students. The portal is open for any query. The senior students are also quite helpful. Various students clubs are formed to help students for their overall development.
Admission
You can get admission through three processes. First, through JEE mains entrance exams, second through Acpc quota and third through NRI quota. Thr Acpc quota is specifically for Gujrat students only.While any students can apply through JEE Mains. Ranking is based on your score and dates of counselling are assigned. Before this a form is circulated to give your branch preference. During counselling, you can choose any branch according to your score. If you find your preferred branch then book the seat. And finally NRI quota is there for another counselling prosses is there similar to Jee mains but only NRI students are there.
Faculty
The faculties of each and every branch are quite qualified. They have experience in industrial work as well as technical/research work. There are also some faculties who are visiting faculties for various foreign university which is very helpful to learn about their culture and course.
