Review of IIIT Kota

There is a lot of area of the campus that can be used to develop a more modest infrastructure. Also, the facilities can be a lot better compared to present and the management shall have the committee of the students for maintaining the businesses around the campus.

Course curriculum is very organized and focuses only on core subjects related to the field but is very lengthy and time taking. There are a vast number of resources to go through and learn. The course curriculum surely refines the best out of the students who are interested in the field of Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communications Engineering. Hence I would recommend the course curriculum with full confidence.

Placements are very good, the placement cell works hard to get good companies for campus placements, internships opportunities are equally available. So overall it's very good and the companies take students at very good package offers.

There are technical fest, cultural fest, management fest and fun fest, literary fest is also introduced this year, hence there is a lot of events and activities around the campus. These are big budget festivals with footfall of over 15000, so it's all very good.

Fee structure is mediocre, can be handled by middle class family. Being a government college, the fee structure is set with the focus on every part of the financial sector. And for those who can't afford the fees, scholarships programme are easily available.

There is a national scholarship program for student since the college is of national importance, so the scholarships are offered on a large basis to students who are in need of the financial help. Students can easily avail the scholarships to help their education on financial side.

They are excellent, Almost every sport is available for students to play and become better. From athletics to badminton to lawn tennis, every facility is available for every sport. Though trainers aren't present, but mentors help you with the sport to excel.

Hostel is good on terms of infrastructure but the facilities are mediocre, also, the washrooms are cleaned once in a week which is very low. The mess facilities are okay, they are bad at times and good at times. Overall the rooms are good, but there is a good need of improvement.

They are very helpful, there is an alumni association that takes care of activites around campus with good focus on every components. Financial help or other help, they are very supportive. Seniors acts as mentors and are very helpful.

I gave the Joint Entrance Examination which is a national level entrance examination through which I got the admission in my institute. The merit list sorts the students according to marks and hence ranks the students on a merit basis and students can choose colleges accordingly via national level counseling.

Faculty is good, they work hard to make their students learn and assess them on a regular basis, also there are projects given at the end of the semester to implement the lectures learnt. Labs are taken every week to learn things in an experimental way.
