Remarks

The college was really good in terms of teaching, the infrastructure was really bad though. The professors were all good, the practicals were good, the hostels was bad the, the seniours and super seniours were very helpful

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course of mbbs is really good, but tough as well, the exam pattern are usual, with subjects changing every year. In 1st year the subjects taught such as anatomy physiology etc, isn't taught in 2nd year, the exam are subjective and practical.

Placement Experience

5

Placement didn't happen as it's an mbbs college, we were hired as interns in the same hospital, we were taught by senior doctors the whole path was about five and a half years long, we got the mbbs degree and went further to do specialisations

College Events

5

There were a lot of events held in the college, first after joining the college there was a freshers party the Mr and mrs fresher were selected, a number of celebritys used to come for different events held by college

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since pmch dhanbad is a government college the fee structure is really really feasible, anyone could afford to study in pmch dhanbad, but getting in the college was really tough, as we had to cleat the pre medical entrance examination

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it is a government college it's almost free of cost, the fee structure is totally feasible, you just have to crack the neet exam and get in the college through councelling. Its almost free of cost

Campus Life

2

The sports in the college was good. A lot of events were held on sports activities. The labs were good, the dissection hall, the morgue were are clean and nice. The extracurricular activities were also good. A lot of events used to happen in the college

Hostel Facilities

3

I was given a hostel to live in, it was basically free of cost but I opted to live outside the hostel in local flats with one of my room mate. The hostel wasnt good, there was 1 bathroom for almost 10 students

Alumni/Alumna

The seniours were helpfull a lot. The used to provide us with books and even teach us topics that weren't really clear to me,i didn't actually knew the almuni of college. But seniours were really helpful.

Admission

Aftery neet exam held in 2013, the result came a month after the exam.my rank was almost 12000, the counselling for colleges was held in Ranchi for me, I gave preference to rims Ranchi and them pmch dhanbad after the councelling i was given a seat in pmch dhanbaf

Faculty

4

The faculties are good, they are all qualified doctors. Initially I faced trouble in getting through the Sally us but the faculties were good enough to make me catch up really fast, there were different proffesors for each subjects

MBBS is all about learning and exploring . Only choose this profession when you have a will to help others otherwise it would be a difficult course for you. The passing marks of examination is 50 and for that you need to study hard.

There is no such specific aspects of curriculum that influenced me to choose this course, I choosed because I'm intrested in this field. I think couse curriculum and teaching method can be improved by adding some technical knowledge into medical field. The frequency of exam is good. Difficultly level is medium which is good for us.

Mbbs is a long duration course of about 5.5 years in which there is 1 year of compulsory internship.being a doctor is the noble profession and gives you huge respect and that's why i choose this course, this was me and my parents dream as well.this curriculum prepares you to face upcoming challenges that you have to face as a doctor.i think practical work should be more instead of just bookish knowledge.there is 3 terminals in a regular interval of 3 months and then final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

-The MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) program is a highly sought-after degree that prepares students for a career in medicine. A key aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is its emphasis on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application. The inclusion of subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology provides a strong foundation for understanding the human body and its functions. Furthermore, the clinical rotations and internships allow students to interact directly with patients, giving invaluable hands-on experience. The curriculum is well-structured to equip students for real-world medical practice and further academic pursuits. Clinical postings in hospitals and exposure to different medical specialties enhance problem-solving and decision-making skills. The focus on research methodology also lays the groundwork for those interested in pursuing postgraduate studies or contributing to medical advancements. However, there are areas where the MBBS curriculum could improve. For instance, introducing more interactive teaching methods, such as case-based discussions and simulation labs, would better prepare students for complex clinical scenarios. Additionally, integrating modules on soft skills, such as communication and empathy, could enhance patient care. Exams are frequent, usually held at the end of each semester, with assessments ranging from theory papers to practical exams. While challenging, they are crucial for assessing a student’s knowledge and clinical aptitude. However, spreading out exams and providing more time for preparation could reduce stress and improve performance, ensuring a better learning experience overall. Cons are course length and also the difficulty level.
