Course Curriculum Overview
Yes course curriculum of the institute is as per requirement of industry and research field. Exam structure of the institute is very much strict and fair. In 8th semester there is no theory papers in curriculum. Students used to do major projects in industry. Based on project works only evaluation is being done.
Placement Experience
Placement status of institute is very good. Even i got placed in two companies. And in our curriculum 8th semester students have to do project in companies which is being provided by institute.
College Events
Workshop on a particular topics by every department is being organized to help the students about latest developments. Guest lecture by senior faculty from reputed institute is being organized. Conferences Sports events Cultural events Technical events Kaalrav cultural event
Fee Structure And Facilities
One lakhs fifty six thousand per year including hostel fee and mess fee in 2007-11. Presently it is two lakhs sixty thousands per year course fee, forty thousands per year is hostel fee and seventy seven thousand per year is mess fee per year for upcoming 2020 batch onwards.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had taken education loan during my study from SBI. If any student have class 12th PCM percentage is more than 80 or 85 or 90 then he or she is eligible to get scholarship every year.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good as it is in sikkim so weather condition ia always good. The gender ratio is 60:40. Extracurricular activities is very good. Enough facilities. All equipments available in laboratories. Fully residential campus so students can ask doubt any time to faculty members.
Hostel Facilities
Twenty six thousands per year for 2007-11 batch. Hostel facilities is very good. Attach bathroom in every room which is not found generally in every colleges. Every time wi fi facilities is available. Forty thousand per year is the present mess fee for 2020 batch onwards.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni are the brand ambassador of the institute. Due to strong alumni network students used to get projects and internships very easily as well as placements also. It is more than 20 years old college so very strong alumni network.
Admission
I appeared in the entrance examination and got 315 all india rank. So through counselling process according to my i got the admission. I got admitted in mechanical engineering branch. UGET exam is being conducted by the institute as well as some seats are also under JEE Main category.
Faculty
Excellent knowledge in their field. Good academic record as well as educational qualification from reputed institutions of india as well as abroad. As it is more than twenty years old institute so most of the faculty members are seniors. So they used to guide in a very good manner.
