Remarks
Nothing as such. Everything is good only. It's getting better. I felt that my life really has changed a lot coming here. I have become so active in all the things happening in college which helped me in my placements also. Currently I'm the senior technical secretary of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course will have 3 internals, out of which best of 2 is considered. We have 1 lab internals and 1 lab externals. So externals will consist of 80 marks while internals of 20 marks. Not only the subjects, there are mini projects, mooc courses which are considered when internal marks are finalized.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are pretty peaceful in college for all the CSE &ISE students. I'm from EEE and I still got placed though. There will be mass recruiters along with the highest packages. So whoever cracks it on the day, he/she will be lucky. There are my friends who got a package of 12 lpa also there are packages varying from 3-7. So, it's totally on who works hard and who is talented more.
College Events
There are so many events which can be listed as we have so many clubs and each club conducts one event per week. The biggest events are Cultura( Inter college cultural and technical annual fest) , Spardha( Inter college sports fest) , Hackathon(Inter college hackathons) etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible for state people and a lil expensive who comes from other states. There are many quotas for the state people who came through KCET. While comedk charges are lil high, so people needs to see about that.
Fees and Financial Aid
I've received Huawei scholarship worth rupees 50k for achieving in studies, activities and other achievements. There are also a lot of scholarships provided like cmr scholarship etc. There are scholarships for sports, leadership etc.
Campus Life
Extracurricular is perfect. Labs are pretty peaceful as we have lab internals also before our lab externals and a lot of practice labs. We have 8 cultural clubs and we have events almost every week. Hence it is very strong.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is good and I'm currently in my 4th year and I still stay here. It's definitely a better place than all the pgs and everywhere else. And I didn't opt for flats because there too many responsibilities come which I didn't want initially.
Alumni/Alumna
They are very helpful. Anytime we wanted to reach out to them, they were always there for us and we know they still will be. We have alumni meets also. So they come and sometimes they come for guest lectures also.
Admission
I got through comedk. I had my rank as 23k so I got into EEE in the first round itself and I didn't come for any further rounds cause I had interest towards this branch. So we had to give the online exam and then according to the rank we were called in a college in Bangalore and there entire day the process continued. And that's how I came into comedk. My entire family liked this college as my family friend referred this college and the college was having very good reputation at that time. So I opted CMRIT.
Faculty
They are very nice, anytime they will be available for us to help us. We are very lucky to have them with us. They are super friendly also. They are always there when we want help with our projects or anything related.
