Remarks
Mostly positive. But the negatives are Canteen, Old labs, some inexperienced faculty. Positives are bus facility, ambience staff, fee structure, exam pattern, no ragging , mostly merit students. Doesn't permit any drug abuse or alcohol consumption.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is new and very easy to understand, but still most of the present technologies are missing. There are number of exams conducted to evaluate the student. Starting from assignments, records, mid exams, lab internal, lab externals, Semester exams. Out college is affiliated to OU and follows CBCS system and gives students a choice in subjects.
Placement Experience
Placements are only good for CSE and ECE students, remaining students go for that since they don't have any other option. There's no chance for placement of other branch students in their corr side. Internships are also offered through new government scheme TASK. I've joined TASK recently so I didn't for internship.
College Events
There are a lot of events conducted in our college like Akshay Urja, Water management, Rural education, annual day , freshers party etc. There are lot of events conducted in our college almost 2-3 every week.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. But not cheap compared to other colleges. There are some colleges where there's no fee and also there are college which take lakhs of rupees. So our college is neither cheap nor expensive. But still there are so many other expenses.
Fees and Financial Aid
The government of Telangana offers me scholarship of 40000/- per year. Out of which 35000/ is directly cut from the college fee. And the rest is transferred to bank account of the student. Student may use it for any of his needs
Campus Life
Labs technician and other junior faculty are good. There's an entire team of faculty running a lab. And there are many labs in the college for each and every branch. Sports facility is good and many students participate in sports.
Hostel Facilities
No. I didn't opt for hostel since I live in the same city and the college is not very far from our home. And there are lot of buses and other transportation methods like cab , auto rickshaw, bus etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni do visit the college to teach students on how they earned their jobs. They also help us maintain contact with some big educational programs like IEEE. But nowadays their visit is very much declined
Admission
I wrote many entrance exams and have got admission in this college through EAMCET. After you get qualified in the exam, you can make a list of college according to your choice and preference. The course or college with highest priority should be written first on the list. And if you're eligible, then you'll get a message from JNTU about your seat allotment. Then you must visit the college in person and submit your documents. Then you have to pay first year fee and join the college.
Faculty
Most of the faculty are very good and experienced. They have knowledge on outside world and teach us ethics and values along with the subject. And they also train us for the future. But still some new faculty aren't that good.
