Remarks
For students from Bihar, this is a wonderful university. You can easily reach through train, road, airplane. The university is in 1600 acre green lush campus. There is no discrimination in campus. From very poor to very rich students can be found here. Asia's biggest library is in this Campus. Students have free medical facility. Negative aspect is that every one do not have access to Hostel facility.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus of this university is very well designed. Students can easily prepare for the basics of UPSC level examination. You can also prepare for the various examination at all India level. Examination structure is strictly semester based.
Placement Experience
Social Science faculty do not offer placement. Economic department conducts campus placement with very limited seats. For once and while there is placement in other department. But in Masters there are various professionals courses in Social Science that offers placements.
College Events
Every faculty organises several faculty level events in their own faculty, that ranges from poetry, drama, story telling, role playing, music, arts, sculpture, painting and various other like quizzes, debate. Annual event is Spandan.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The plus point of this university is that the fees of this university is nothing. for UNDER GRADUATE courses For 1st semester you have to pay mere ?2100 and for even semester you have to pay ?400. Then on for odd semester you have to pay ?1400
Fees and Financial Aid
I do not have any detail and information about this scholarship and loan facility offered by college. I do know some students, who is really every economically weak , University waive their Fooding and lodging charges, after they submits their certificate
Campus Life
University is well known for their research studies in whole India. It has highest number of research scholars in any university all around India. Several activities and all India level seminars are held on the daily basis.
Alumni/Alumna
I do not have any information about the Alumni network. Seniors are really helpful and very cooperative. They will be available to you for any given time. The basic rule about seniors-junior is that you will become how your seniors teach you and guides you.
Admission
Banaras Hindu University annually conducts BHU UET examination at all India level. There you have to fill the form and have to be present at the exam. You have to clear the entrance exam and on the basis of your score card you will get the subjects.
Faculty
Faculty are very honest. The professors are very highly qualified. They all have the experience of more then 25 years. Professor are highly professional and they are committed and punctual and honest towards their duty.
