Remarks
Good college to learn from but the management is very expensive and not very supportive but otherwise good faculty where we can learn if we try to. Good inpatient count so we get to have better experience and our quota forces us to do more.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is dental surgeon , a 5 and a half year course including rotary internship. Exam each each from first year to final year part 1 followed by 6 months final year part 2 and exam. And when passed the compulsory rotatry internship.includes 18 subjects from basics to clinicals.
Placement Experience
Yes internship is compulsory. And job opportunity is also good. Standard college with a good name in and outside kerala. One of the best colleges for bds in management sector. With good patient proportion.
College Events
College day , dentfest , sports and freshers. Freshers is usually at the strt of every year for the juniors a platform to show case their talents. College day at thw end of year.each batch comes up with a program and the best students are awarded.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is increasing every year especially the management and the nri. The government seats are based on merit.during my time.the fees was about 1.5 lakhs per year. And about 65k every year for hostel which we ffound tad bit costly.

We do have scholarship available for the merit students whcih we have to apply and we get based on our marks this is given by the kerala govt other wise as uch no scholarship from the management as such.
Campus Life
Not very supportive for girls. But the boys have good opportunity and have football ground. The KUHs tournament that's conducted every year. Our guys have played an won trophies and name to the college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel food is good. But the rooms an infrastructure is bad. 4 in a room. Very congesting.we had complains an we did number of times.they were hardly considered and we were forrced to leave during our internship due to lack of space.
Alumni/Alumna
Presently the 12 th batch moving out. 7 batches have passed out. We don't have alumini association yet but we are planning to conduct in th coming year. The seniors have reach great heights opening their own clinics or pursued further studies.
Admission
It was via the neet mark and kerala ranklist where you give the exam and you have to apply for the counseling and placement. Depending on the score the neet publishes a ranklist all over India. And you are allowed to opt for the state according the criteria either should have studied there ,higher secondary or have a land or born there. Based on which i gave Kerala since it is my birth place. And i had given options from dental college to medical College. Based on mark we are again segregated. And rank is published an based on option order we are given our colleges. If not satisfied we can wait for the next allotment
Faculty
The faculty was good during my study. Though now the number of patients have come down and exposure is reducing. We had the best orthodontic hod with good experience and he was respected by all means. Certain depts were short of staffs and we had to manage it alone otherwise good faculty. Available alaways
