Remarks
Every college has it's pros and cons.being the best college in the Karnataka state my college lacks a big campus like the other colleges have. accomodation facilities needs to improved otherwise academically it is one of the best college in my country.
Course Curriculum Overview
The examination pattern in our college is very well planned. We have three internal exams in which the best of two results are selected. After qualifying for the internal examination we are then eligible for semester exams. The two internals have 50% weightage and the semester exam is the other 50%. Combining both the internals and semester results our CGPA is calculated.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities in my college boast to be the best in the state of Karnataka. We have a dedicated placement cell which trains the student to get better placements. We have many internship programs too.
College Events
Our college has various events celebrated throughout the year. The main event of our college is called as UTSAV. It's a week long event. Our college also has a big technical event called phaseshift in which many technical companies do come to showcase the new technologies and every department also puts up the work they have done so far.
Fee Structure And Facilities
If you are a resident of the Karnataka state then the fee structure is very cheep. around ?30-40k for an year but if you're not from Karnataka the fees goes around ?2lakh a year. So for me the fee structure is a bit expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarship and loan facility to the worthy students who are less fortunate to afford the expensive fee structure. The prices for the back papers are also half the price for minority communities.
Campus Life
The be honest.our college have a very small campus so many sports activities are not possible inside the campus. the labs are well maintained with the best and latest machines. The college has many labs for every department.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of my college is also good. I know some of the senior students and alumni of the college who have enlightened me with the insights of the college and helped me academically too. The seniors are supportive.
Admission
I got admission through the entrance exam conducted for my college. The entrace test name is COMED-K. This is a joint entrance exam for various colleges of the Karnataka state. The examination was conducted online and i secured 8500 rank in this all India examination and got my desired college and branch through this examination.
Faculty
The faculty of my college seems pretty helpfull. They are nice to the students and supportive both academically and emotionally. The faculty of my college is highly knowledgeable in their field of subject.
