Onwards on wings

Placements are currently low and it seems many times that college doesn't care about students and administration is also not that good.There are problems but also some good things are also there in JEC. College gives freedom to the students in many sectors.

Course Curriculum is good. It starts from basics and goes to the advance level and according to the subject the Exams are held. It is a semester bases pattern with 5 main subjects in every semester and then its exams.

Placement depends on the branches CS and It has great placement while mechanical civil and ip has low placements whith mainly 3 4 core companies only. Electrical and Ec has normal placements. Students generally are focused on higher education.No internship is provided by college.

Not many events are organised by college. All the major events are totally organised by students with little or no help by college in funds and work. There is sports fest which is great and it is organized in collaboration between college and students for arround 15 games.

Fees is very low for BE students 23000 per year and hostel costs around 2800 per year only with many scholarships and other things so it is very cost efficient.And placese around college is also not costly.

There are many scholarships for SC ST and OBC category students and there is scholarship for general category students also. For SC and ST category students many stationary items are also provided by college without any cost. In total no economic problem is there for anyone in JEC.

Labs are in bad condition for mechanical, civil, Ip branch with no or very less equipments working but the Cs, It and Electrical Branch have some good labs. The whole college is currently only improvement phase with improvement in labs also. Sports has a great potential in the college with good help by college.

I have been in hostel for 1 year. It has been improved and infrastructure is also improved with facilities now. Its very cheap but u get the hostel based on your rank only. And not many rooms are available.

Alumi network is very large and strong also as college was made in 1947 and many baches have passed so there are many alumini all over the world. Aluminies are always ready to help if u ask them for it there is also a alumini association in college.

On the basis of the JEE main marks ranks are decided and on the basis of ranks there are counseling rounds 1,2 and 3 and on the basis of your ranks and rank cutoff of branches according to the seats available, the branch is allotted.

Faculties are very experienced and knowledgeable. 1st and 2nd year is mainly given the new faculties and 3rd 4th year are given the more experienced faculties generally but it also differs on the basis of branches also.
