Remarks
I would like to positive remarks about my college but there are few things i would like to see improved. First stop following the old VTU syllabus and also focus on practical knowledge rathar than book knowledge
Course Curriculum Overview
It is still old fashioned as we follow VTU syllabus. There are no new technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning involved in our curriculum it can be improved greatly and we can also adopt practical approach of engineering.
Placement Experience
The placements in our college has been great over the years but unlucky of me this year it has been not upto the mark. Internship are only allowed during the holidays which are just 20 to 30 days and are not enough
College Events
In our college we celebrate two technical cultural fest namely verve and kalanjali. Verve is an intracollegiate fest and kalanjali is an intercollegiate fest. Allot of college around Bangalore City participate in this fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is very feasible as compared to all the engineering colleges in and around Bangalore. We also have to pay very less miscellaneous fees around 16k per year which is very less and the hostel fees is less too.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college there are several scholarships offered but as I belong to the general merit category i have not much information regarding it but recently my friends had applied for that epass scholarship which is very good.
Campus Life
In our college extracurricular activities are very much encouraged. Our college participates in most of the fests in Bangalore colleges and also the VTU fest which is organised every year. And we have huge ground for sports.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni of our college are in very prestigious companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft etc. Many of them have also started their own startups and willing to provide us lots of opportunities but our college does not encourage it much.
Admission
I got through the KCET examination which is held every year in the state of Karnataka. We had to select the college we wanted to get in interms of a list and later we were given seat based on our ranks.
Faculty
Faculty of the college are giving their best in terms of teaching but the syllabus is outdated and even they are fed up of teaching the same thing again n again for soo many years. The lectures are always on time too.
