Course Curriculum Overview
BCA is a good course if you are the one who loves to go towards software development, networking and so on. The carriculam of calicut university bca course is not good because it makes burden to the students with lot of theoretical contents. Practical classes are limitted. Also the exam timing is very bad
Placement Experience
This college does not provides any internship or placement. As it is only self financing college under calicut university like all other colleges sasc had no placement cell. Only practical session we get is the project did in 6th semester
College Events
A lot of events are celebrated in our college. The events very memmorable throughout my life. In an accademic year the union of college conducts programs like union inauguration, arts day, sports day, college day, onam celebration, cristmas clebration, iftar party and a lot of other programs. And also there will be a lot other programs conducted by different departments
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is same as that of calicut university fee structure. We should pay 18750 rs for one semester for the BCA course. Overall it cost around 1.15 lack rs for BCA. The exam feeses are not includes in this
Fees and Financial Aid
The college should not provide any financial assistance to the students. They do not give any scholarships. We may get government scholarships like postmetric scholarship. Loan fecility is not provided by the college.we should go for it our self
Campus Life
About labs. The computer Lab is only average. Do not have good UPS fecility. We should wait for the elecricity all the time.I thing department of food technology had a good lab fecility as compared to the computer lab
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network in silver arts and science college is active all the time. Conducting programs for the formar students. When i am studying there seniors are not much of helpfull. The boys are always making problems but girls are little bit helpfull
Admission
I got admission in college by merit list issued by calicut university. I was joined on another college. But in the fourth allotment i changed into silver arts and science college for BCA. There was not much students are joined through thr merit list. All others are joined through management quota
Faculty
Faculties are of diferent kinds there. Some of them are very friendly and had a very good helping mentality. However some of them are also very strict. Not friendly in behaviour. A few number of faculties are always supportive towards the programs conducted by the union.
