Remarks
It's true that the college is not still perfect in every perspective and still developing. According to the number of departments the college campus is not so large. As it is situated in almost middle of the city Midnapore. But the college has a satisfactory infrastructure in the campus and also well decorated.
Course Curriculum Overview
No doubt the college has sufficient infrastructure to pursue the course. Also there is sufficient seat capacity. Professors and lecturers are highly qualified for teaching. The course is divided into six semesters. Before each semester there are two internal exams. This helps the students to evaluate their preparation and score high marks in aggregate.Also projects and practicals are there in the syllabus and mandatory for everyone.
Placement Experience
It's not that the college provides a top class placement. But the placement cell invites many companies for campusing. They organizes seminars regarding job opportunities after B. Sc. Companies like Amazon, Jio, ICICI bank comes to the college campus for counseling.
College Events
A lot of events are celebrated in the college campus through out the year. Freshers' welcome ceremony is the one in the starting of the session. Many educational seminars are organized where many reputed personalities comes to deliver valuable speech. Among all annual function is the biggest one celebrated in a gorgeous way.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the college should not be a burden for the students. As most of the students belong to middle class or poor families. Keeping the whole thing in mind the authority decides a reasonable fee structure for every subject and that's not much expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
No there is no such facilities yet provided by the college authority. They give cash prizes to the toppers of every department and encourage every student by medals. But there is still no facilities of availing scholarships or loan.
Campus Life
Lab based subjects have top class infrastructure to perform most of the experiments in the lab. Also the labs are quite sufficient for research work. Sports cell organizes cricket and football championship among the departments. There are many state level champions in the college. Annual sports is a big event for selecting students in various athletic events. NCC and social work group are also included in the extracurricular activities.
Alumni/Alumna
A big plus point of this institution is a large alumni network working in various fields and institutions in India and abroad. This helps the students very much in pursuing their higher studies and carrier selection. They stay connected to the college and helps the outgoing students very much in further studies.
Admission
I applied online for admission in the college website. Then the college authority prepared a merit list based on 12th marks and called for counseling. The marks in the respective subject was taken. Thus I got admission.
Faculty
The teaching stuffs in each department are highly qualified. They have the experience of all India exams. The have the ability to teach and guide students for their bright future. The important thing is that they are always available to contact for any problem. They play the role of motivators for the students.
