About VGEC and VGECIAN

VGEC is quite good place of technical education in engineering. But, It also faces lack of some facilities like mesh and cleanines as it is government college. Placement facilities are good in some branches.

Course tenure is 4 years. We have to passed around 51 subjects. We have to complete one group project related to our field in final year. I have got to know my practical things about my field in VGEC. Which is must required in my field and I feel that is plus point of VGEC.

Placement was not good in my branch, but my college has good placement performance in IT and computer science field. Yes, My college provide internship. I have done 15 day internship in Welspun Corp ltd. No i do not get stipend in that period. Overall experience of internship was too good i learned many practical things related to the field

Some of events and small description 1) Technoaspire: It is a 2 day technical event, in which students explore their technical skills by practical application. Many students from other colleges also come and take part in it. 2)Gujarat Techfest: It is also 2 day event. It is Gujarat level technical event for all Engineering Colleges. Many from other students come and take participate in it. From 2015 my college is regularly organizing Guh techfest.

As my college is govt college. My total annual fee was around 3000. In which 1500 as college fee and other 1500 contribute for library, gym, laboratry and other facility. Annual hostel fee was around 2000 rupees. So yes, i can say that fee structure in my college was very feasible.

As VGEC is government college, They do not provide any loan facilities or scholarship on their own. Students get scholarship which provided by government itself. Which is normal and routine process in any college.

Yes, VGEC has ground for cricket and football, court of badminton. Lab facilities in every branch is good. Labs were highly equiped with modern instruments. Sports event has been organized in every year.

Yes, I opted for hostel. Infrastructure of the building is quite good. But we need to complain regularly for cleanines of bathrooms and toilets. We also did'nt get Mesh facility for regular. tenure We have to go out for Food.

Yes, College has good alumni network. It organizes Alumni meet event in every year. My seniors were very helpful and friendly, infact some of them are still in my contact. On the same not, I am still in touch with my juniors.

I cleared 12th science in 2012, Afterwords I have to give one Entrance test called GUJCET. Based on the marks of 12th science and GUJCET, merit had been constructed by 60% of 12th science result and 40% of GUJCET. On the basis of my rank in merit i was selected in VGEC electrical engineering branch

They have sufficient number of faculties. Some of them are excellent in their respected areas and others are okay. Some faculties focus on practicals and mathematics. Overall faculty of my college is good.
