I have cleared IIT JEE examination in 2005. I got all India rank of 2931 in IIT JEE and opted for Dual Degree Program in IIT BHU.I have opted this college because this is one of the reputed college in engineering field.Also I always want to go in research filed and I got mechanical dual degree that was my dream program.Because of all the above mentioned reasons I have opted for this college.

Course curriculum was fantastic. I have got to know thorough knowledge of subject so far.Also I got to know various industrial aspects that I can apply in my jobs.My electives are as follows:-1) Mechanical Drawing and Engineering drawings2) Fluid Dynamics3) Strength of Materials4) Quality Engineering5) Supply chain engineering6) Operation Management7) CAD Modeling 8) Robotics9) Thermodynamics10) Controls11) CNC Programming12) Computational fluid dynamics13) Instrumentation basicsetc.

I was lucky enough in my college that I got opportunity to do internship 3 times during my 5 years of Dual Degree program.My internship experience was wonderful as I have done my internship in fortune 500 companies of world.Interviews for internship was conducted in my college itself.The project given in internships was quite challenging and also I got to know filed experience.Details of internships are as follows:-1) Year 2007-08 : Hero Honda Motors Pvt. Placements in my college were quite good. As in 2010 my college was at rank 5 according to times magazine so we got opportunity to sit in many good companies. Our college training and placement office was quite supportive to got a suitable job for a candidate.Total placement was around 150% at my time.As far as about my placements I got three opportunity from my college.Details are as follows:-1) LG electronics India Pvt. Ltd.2) National thermal power corporation3) GIEPER (IPR Consultancy)

There are lot of events celebrated in my college.There were individual department events as well as annual college events.College level events:-1) Kashi Yatra: All India level cultural festival2) Spardha: All India level sports festival3) Technex: All India level technical festival4) Opulence: All India level business festivalApart from these festivals we got opportunity to participate into University festivals:-1) Spandan2) All India youth festival etc.Department level events like Optica etc.

As my college is a government college so fees structure is quite feasible.My total fees for per semester was Rs. 13799 only. And apart from fees structure there was no charges for hostel and other facilities. Mess charges are not included in fees.

One can avail merit cum scholarship in college.(depend on your class performance)There are scholarships for SC/ST,OBC students also.One can also participate scholarship provided by various companies such as Tata Steel,Tata Motors etc.

IIT BHU is part of BHU University campus.It is a very big campus around 1300 acres.Campus is quite neat and clean and lush green.There is two big amphitheaters in campus for events.There are 3 -4 Big playgrounds.All the facilities in campus for sports such as swimming pool,tennis court,badminton court,squash court,football ground,cricket ground,hockey ground,race track,gymnasium,basketball court,volleyball court,Pool tables,Table tennis tables in every hostel.There are lot of activities one can do in college.There are different robotics competitions held in college like optica,robotica ,Technex etc.All events are at all India level.One can also participates in other college events easily.Lot of debate competitions in every language held in college.So in short one can participate any number of extracurricular activities in college and almost all activities are at national level.

Hostel are quite good for a student.Room are not that big enough so one might face difficulty during 1st two year because there was 2 persons for 1st 2 years.After 2 years one will get separate room so that is quite spacious and have all the amenities req

Alumni network is quite amazing.There are lot of alumni meets happened in college every year and alumni support college in various ways such as placement support,facility support,sponsorship for events,scholarships for students etc,.Seniors were also quite supportive in every phase of my college life.

In my colleges faculty was quite renowned.All the professors,associates are Post Doctorate.All the assistant professors were qualified Doctorates in their respective fields.I want to specially mentioned S.K.Sharma Sir .He was dean of BHU at my time and wa
