The infrastructure and the administration needs to be a little better. The placement is the strength of the college. There should be more focus on practical knowledge rather than textbooks. The syllabus needs to be updated
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is similar to almost all equivalent engineering colleges, though i feel there should be more focus on overall personality of student. We have 2 semesters in a year, and in each semester you have various subjects, the subjects have different credits, and the overall score is calculated after performance in those subjects considering their credits. In every semester, there is a 20 mark mid semester exam, 60 marks end semester exam, and rest marks are for teacher's assessment and labs in some subjects
Placement Experience
MNNIT is known for its placements. Every year overall 88-90% students are placed with a handsome salary package and around 300+ companies, including PSUs, it companies visit for recruitment. There is also internship offered in the 5th semester, by the top notch companies. The interships are generally for 2 months with a stipend. The overall placement is one of the best in nits and rank on number 2 in all nits in terms of placement
College Events
We have a technical fest called AVISHKAR in the month of September to inculcate technology friendly engineers where they get a platform to learn, followed by GNO TALKS, where achievers from all walks of life interact with the students. There is a freshers party called SWAGAT in august where the seniors train the 1st years to perform and open up to the college. CULRAV, is the annual cultural fest, held in the month of april, which includes singing, dancing, drama every thing that can ever be imagined. There is JOSH JALAL,the sports fest held in January where competitions and tournaments in all sports are conducted. Not just theses there are many events all around the year, like ALCHEMY, the dramatics event, ALUMNI MEET, where the alumnis interact with the juniors and much more
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a government institution, an institution of national importance, the fee structure is very low and affordable. The general fee for every semester is 98,000 on which you can get relaxation on basis of family income, and can also apply for various scholarships

There are various scholarships available for different states students, also there is a college fund which can support too. All the banks provide education loan to complete the studies inculding sbi, pnb, hdfc.
Campus Life
As the college is going through renovation now so most of the campus is dug throughout. A few labs are a little old with old equipments. The sports facility is good with good equipments and grounds for various sports like skating, volleyball, basketball, athletics, football, cricket, badminton, table tennis,chess
Hostel Facilities
Yes, the first year hostel called the swami vivekanand boys hostel, is a 5 star hostel with a very good infrastructure and good mess, where food is served 4 times a day including breakfast ,lunch , evening snacks and dinner
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a vast alumni network which is the main reason for the good placement records. The seniors are very helpful and easily approachable, they also clear doubts and take classes for the juniors. Also there is no ragging
Admission
Since MNNIT ALLAHABAD, is one of the top nits, the admission is done by the ALL INDIA RANKS allotted in jee mains exam conducted by nta, and then the seat is allotted by jossa, after all the verifications and physical reporting to the Institute one can get admission. Also, for forigen students, the entrance exam is SAT, all these students get their seat through DASA, based on their performance in sat
Faculty
Faculty is very knowledgeable and experienced, most of the professors are PhD. All are from renowned institutions. Their approach is good, but not all teachers are that good.Though sometimes being a student i feel bored in their classes
