Remarks
College provides the best for the students in all forms. The negative comment by me is that, college won't consider festivals or otherprogrammes of other states and they won't give leave on that days.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college has a wide variety of courses with one of the best faculties. Courses are separated by aided and unaided. For example there will aided bsc physics and an unaided bsc physics.But both the wings follow same exam structures.Each semester had two internal exam CA1 and CA2 followed by CE exam which is the semester exam.CA1 is of 50 marks and CA2 is of 75 marks.CE exam is of 75 mark and rest of the 25 marks are internals marks.
Placement Experience
Yes,our college provide internships.Many big companies reach our college for placements and job opportunities. I haven't come done any internships or placements till now. Many of them have said that the placement exams are on holidays or on working days without OD(On Duty). They won't be given attendance for that.Little complaints have been heard about that.
College Events
College celebrates different types of functions and festivals every year.Its starts with the Inaguration programme which will be conducted for both aided and unaided departments on different days.The programme includes different departments coming on stage to perform something's like dance or songs.Then the college provides programmes like CASCALL,HEART BEAT,EUPHORIA,WIZARDS.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For aided , per year it's around Rs 6,500 excluding the semester examination fees. For unaided , per year it's around 46,000 excluding the semester examination fees.The fees are affordable , i think so
Fees and Financial Aid
College offers scholarships for students. To get a scholarship one's parents should not have govt.job or can be given on the basis of their castes or by annual income. Many students have got their scholarships and they aru upto mark
Campus Life
Every departments have their own lab facilities. College also have basketball , football, hockey , table tennis , koko, hand ball , athletic teams. College provide the best coaches for them and they have made the college name proude in numerous occations
Hostel Facilities
As I am from other state , I hade to opt for an college hostel. College has 3 boys hostel and about 7 or 8 girls hostel.Different hostels have different annual fees and its infrastructure and facilities is not upto that. The hostel fees starts form Rs 58,00 to more than 1 lakh.
Alumni/Alumna
Many bus names have been pass out of these college. Seniors will help us with exam patterns or with questions other than that seniors haven't been helpfull. Many alumnies have been invited for different programmes
Admission
I got admission via management because my marks was lower than the required merit mark.As we where from other state,we had to get help by an agent.They told us all the requirements such as plus two mark sheet,tenth mark sheet,passport size photos etc.They told us that we will be informed with a week.They are the ones who go to the college, opt for a seat in B.Sc.Physics.After the seat as been set,we ie;me and my parents had to go to the college for further procedures.
Faculty
The college has the best teaching staffs.They are helpfull in number of ways but opinion change by person or by department.Every department would not have a nice gentle understandable faculty some may be rude ,its according to the department.As of my opinion , about my department it ain't good except one or two staffs.HOD's are the one who makes the last decision.If HOD ain't good,department is just average. So everyone have different opinion.But mostly aided staffs are the best because they have years of experience.
