UEC College review

Overall the college is very good. Be it the academics, feasibility, extra curricular activities,etc. If the placements in this coolge are improved the this college has the potential to become one of the vest colleges in central India.

The Overall course curriculum is very good and covers all the major subjects of electronics. Also some Computer science subjects like computer network, computer architecture and data structures is also included. Exams are conducted during May and December of every year.

Placements is the only department where i think our college is lagging behind as compared to private colleges. Everyone of us have to go to either open campus or off campus drives in order to get placed.

Every year aayam the culture fest of college is celebrated in the month of February and just after one month mechtech meet is organized where students from nearby college come and show their active participation.

The Fees here is 23,000rs per year!!! yes you read it right. Wherr there are many private colleges who tak around 1lakhs per year for the same curriculum, i think uec is pretty much feasible. Moreover the college also provides free gate classes for 3rd year and 4th year students ( The Gate Academy). What else do you expect?

Scholarship is available for economically weaker students as well as for obc and st/sc students. I have no idea about loan facility but a student can pay the fees in installments of two if he/she is not able to pay the full amount in lump sum.

The labs here are equipped with all the necessary instruments needed to understand the subjects practically. There is a football ground, tennis lawn, badminton hall for students who have interest in sports. Also inter branch cricket tournament is organised every year.

We have a WhatsApp group in which all alumni of our branch are added who keep on posting good job and internship opportunities for final year and passouts. If possible some of the alumnis also visit our college whenever they pass by ujjain to address us.

Initially i got admission in igec sagar, then in 3rd semester i took admission in uec via college transfer. The college transfer form was uploaded on the rgpv website at the beginning of the 3rd semester. I filled the form and then got a no objection certificate signed from the principal of igec as well as uec.

I can't say about other departments but the faculties of my department are very knowledgeable and very cooperative. Teachers are regular in taking lectures and by the end of semester they complete almost 80 per cent of syllabus.
