All about my College

I have few negatives like our college is small in size but it's also a sort of Positive remark as well. Our college should start encouraging extra curricular activities and sports. We have more fee for transportation also like 35k per year and it increases every year.

Our course curriculum is pretty good it covers all the basics and some ug programs what a mechanical student should know. Coming to our exam structure, we will be having 2 mid examinations per semester for 15 marks, 5 marks for objective type and 5 marks for misceleneous like attendance, assignment, presentation etc. And the rest 75 marks is for end semester. You will be given grades in the form of GPA and you will be promoted for next year by your total credits you got for the year. Each sem is for 24 credits.

There are many job opportunities other than mechanical and electrical engineering students as there are not many placements going on for these students. Because there are less companies who will be hiring mechanical engineering students. Other than this many students gets placed from other branches. But the placement cell is working hard to get the placements for mechanical engineering students as well. Yes, I have few friends who got internships from different companies. so our college also provides internship opportunities. They got the stipend of around 10,000 INR.

There are not many events celebrated in our college. But we have few like Technolites, Ortus, varadhi, freshers etc. Where Ortus is the biggest fest which will be going for 2 days. First day is traditional day when all the students wear sarees and dothis etc. The night we will be having floodlight cricket match. Second day we will be having concert in the evening where we enjoy a lot. Technolites is the technical fest where few games and projects by students are exposed.

Here comes the fee part. It's an expensive fee structure but it's worth it. We had 1.05 lac/annum fee and now it is increased to 1.35 lac/annum. If you are a student who got 10k below rank in eamcet you don't have to worry because government pays for you.

There are no such scholarships but you will get loan facility for central bank which our college partners with. They will approve the loan hassle freely. But you will have to prove for it and you should be a merit student. We have reimbursement of 35,000 rs by the government.

Extracurricular activities are always encouraged and few events will be going on for them but not much concentrated on those events. Labs are awesome they maintain very regularly. We cannot say a negative word for facilities of laboratory. They are spacious and neat and they makesure all equipments will be working thoroughly. We have sports but not much encouragement in this section like PET's are not that good.

Ya, I have made quite a lot senior friends. They were very helpful for my future path. They help me in choosing the right path after bachelors. They are helping me out in finding jobs in different mechanical companies.

In our state we have an exam called EAMCET. This is the entrance test for all the engineering colleges in Telangana. The exam will be for 120 marks. There is no specific mark for qualifying but it depends some cutoffs. You are judged by your rank among all students who took the test in this test. I got 14416 rank in this test. Next phase is the counselling phase where your certificates are verified and option of colleges is to be opted and wait for the result. I got Vardhaman college of engineering in first phase itself. Actually there will be 3 phases.

There is some regulation for the college which says a faculty should have atleast Some qualification. So many of them are gonna be doing well. To talk particularly about our course faculty, almost every one has got PHd. And few faculty are working on it. So you can say that your doubts and teaching would be pretty much good enough.
