About JNTUA

So far JNTUA is one of the prestigious institutes in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Many of the top rankers of EAMCET choose this college. But need to improve a lot in infrastructure as well as in studies and research.

For every two years the regulation changes with little modification. Coming to exams , there will be two mid term examinations and one final end semister exam for all the subjects. Every semister include 6 subjects and 2 labs

Nearly 50 to 60% students of electronic and computer science get placed every year. For other branches the percentage still goes down. Most of the recruiting companies are software. The average package may be around 3.5lpa

Every year the students celebrate Freshers day ( particularly first year students), College day, Sports day. Apart from that there are technical fests conducted every year separately for every branch in college.

Fee is very low compared to all other universities or colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Every year we paid10k as tuition fee and 2.5k for hostel every month. Those who have fee reimbursement facility provided by govt, they need not pay tuition fee also.

As it's a government University it doesn't provide scholarships in particular. The govt of Andhra Pradesh is providing fee reimbursement for the students of economically weaker sections. Students can avail that.

Students don't have any extra classe timings particularly for sports. Students who are interested can go and participate in any game and learn any game in the evenings' conducted by physical education department. Lab infrastructure is good but there is no scope of gaining any extra knowledge other than what the task is given that lab.

I am sorry to say that alumni network is poor. Many of the alumni are in high and respected positions. But their connection to the college is soo poor. A few visit the college and share their experiences.

Candidate should write EAMCET exam conducted by govt of Andhra Pradesh state every year. After getting rank, in the later process of certificates verification and option entry he should choose JNTU and which ever the brach the candidate required. You will be notified if you got the admission in this college.

As it is a government University you think every Professor or assistant professor is recruited by govt, but actually it's not true. Most of the lecturers are contract based. All professors are good but many of the contract lecturers lack teaching skills.
