Remarks
The college has good infrastructure and well informed faculty that caters to the student's need. The college has some negatives such as assisting students in internship or providing them one with stipent. Overall I would rate this college Above average.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is reviewed and updated every five years based on the requirements of the industry. I had a new curriculum(2015 batch) and this curriculum had topics ranging from core Mechanical subjects to developing fields such as Mechatronics and artificial intelligence. The curriculum has also options from 3rd semester to take electives depending on one's wishes. Every semester has a set of theory and practical examination. The theory part comprise of 2 internals and 1 semester ending exam with each internal havin a weightage of 25% and semester exam with 50% weightage.
Placement Experience
The college has a separate placement cell, where the placement training starts from 3rd semster itself. The placement training aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial requirement. The college does not provide any internship.
College Events
The college celebrates various fest such as The Cultural every year. Students are encouraged to participate in such fest and the practise session start 1 month before the fest. Ghe collee also hist various symposioms and workshop where various colleges are invited.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is uniform in engineering field, i.e. all engineering courses have same fees. The fee strucure is uniform through the 4 years. The fees include Bus fees, Mess fees, Book fees and a student has to compulsarily pay the above mentioned fees even if not accepting the service. The fees are generally high in comparison to the government college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides a scholarship for the top 10 candidates of the entrance exam. The sholarship is only for the tuition fee and NOT mess or bus fees. The scholarship are also offered for the top students in each branch depending upon his/her performance.
Campus Life
The college has many labs confirming to standards set by AICTE. The labs are well equipped and there are lab staff entrusted with the responsibility of assiting students in lab activities. The college provides great support in sport especially basket ball. The college also has various clubs science club, robotics club etc. to provide extracurricular activity to the students.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of the college visits and imparts on students the industry requirements. The alumni also shares their experience in working in the field. There are around 4 such sessions conducted every semester.
Admission
Through a Talent Hunt Program which i found on facebook. I applied for it and got selected on the basis of my JEE mains marks. Further I had to go through an interview process before gettin my desired branch, i.e. Mechanical.
Faculty
The faculty have Doctrates in their respective field of teaching and they are keen in updating themselves with the modern technology. The faculties are encouraged to publish papers and are then graded according to number and quality of paper published.
