Remarks

College is really worth a shot of you want to be a doctor and I'd you want to enjoy college life hands in hand.life is ease and happy with a lot of academic feeding which is a fertile spot for a growing healthy physician or surgeon

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It's somewhat hectic for a student who just passed out but totally worth the work you put in. You have only annual exams and no semester exams other than routine internals. Curriculum is really including clinical and theoretical wings equally

Placement Experience

4.5

Internship of one year is the best clinical exposure you would get with the case load they have. They provide a reasonable sripens b but not the best one obviously. May be you are not paid for the effort you put in but clinical experience is immense.

College Events

4

All local and national festivals. Apart from this the cultural and shorts events conducted across the whole of Tamil Nadu is also will appreciated. Vyuha TIMS and Expo conducted once in 3 years alternatively ifsc the center of attraction.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. An annual fee of just 4000-6000 is one of the cheapest govt fee available for MBBS in the whole country. It is in par with the AIIMS fee structure supporting people from all financial status to get medical education.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships available for financially struggling and reserved students from govremnant. Loans are also available but the free they ask for a loan is almost not required. Scholarships attract a lot of students yearly.

Campus Life

4

All sports and cultural actives are engaged. These years even yoga and mandatory physical time period have been introduced to improve the health status of students and faculties also arrange platform for arts

Hostel Facilities

4

Reasonable with a yearly rent of just 400 And you will get a single room as you become a senior is really good. Muted fee is also so feasible with just about 2000 basic monthly cost for dining unlimited food with extras available and charged

Alumni/Alumna

Yearly alumni meet ups take place and they provide a whole lot of educational and infrastructural support. Or is really an extravagant feast for the students at an affordable rate once a year. Alumni meets are helpful

Admission

NEET or previously AIPMT examnation is the way how I got into the college. But a local student from Tamil Nadu had access through his board marks. But for the past two years NEET had been made mandatory to enter the college. Get a good score of above 530+ (in a moderately though exam) marks and your probability of getting into the college is great then.

Faculty

4.5

Excellent Faculty. The clinical knowledge they have is intense and immense to make you diagnose even without a investigatory procedure. They have gentle a approach and don't put too much of pressure in terms of Marks or attendance percentage.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
