Remarks
The positives of this college are education is good, extracurricular activities are great. The faculties are very friendly and the location of the college is mesmerizing as it is surrounded by western ghats. The negative is nothing much to say but there are no cultural or entertaining programs.
Course Curriculum Overview
My opinion of the course curriculum is that it's really good. We can many choices to select the courses and here we follow CBCS so students can select the subjects which they need to study. The exam structure is simple. There are 3 internals and end semester exams. Marks scored in internals are important to clear the end semester exams.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college are good. If you get CGPA 7-7.5, you will get placed in your field of interest. Even placement training is also good here. The way of teaching in karunya gives us the interest to nurture our talents in our area of interest. The college helps us to lead a good life. The internships available here are pretty good. You can avail internships in abroad universities through our faculties.
College Events
There are no such big events celebrated in our college. Minecraft is one of the university events where students can showcase their talents. Mega play is an event organized for the Christmas program. There will be play and singing, dancing in Megaplay. Each department conducts its own events which are very much useful for the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is not feasible for everyone. It is a little bit expensive side but the university provides some scholarships to make it feasible. You can avail of many scholarships which are provided by the university.
Fees and Financial Aid
Merit scholarships are available. If students have 80%+marks in 12th or equivalent grades they can avail of those merit scholarships. Loans can be availed from different banks. There are scholarships available for sportsmen also. If students have their siblings studying here they can also avail a scholarship.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are good here. They have advanced labs in every department and they have many patents. Our college has many teams Based on different sports. They have won in national level matches. Our university even conducts own tournament named KEMT in which different teams from various college participates.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni networks are present. Alumni cards are given to passed-out students. So they can come to college and meet their faculties whenever needed. There is no ragging from senior students as anti-ragging is strictly insisted on the campus. Seniors will help us in every possible way.
Admission
The admission for all UG courses of engineering, science, and arts is considered based on merit. The candidates will be admitted to each program Base on karunya entrance exam (KEE)only for B.Tech/B.school. Agriculture /B.scHorticulture and higher secondary score. However provisional admission can be done. The admission will be confirmed to a candidate after receiving his/her original certificates as per the eligibility norms of the institution.
Faculty
Dedication and passion are two attributes that would best define our faculty members. Their determination to teach the students is very good. They possess information and knowledge most complexly in such a manner that students can understand and comprehend the substance in an adequate manner. We have website courses.
