Good College

I have already written everything I know and I feel good or bad for my college above. But a positive remark is that environment is very good, it is my fifth year in this college and I haven't seen any ragging conducted by the students. And the negative remark would be the politics, student's are focusing more on the political activity than on studies and encouraging students from outside of the college to enter the college premises. Strict checking of ID cards should be conducted each and every day and if a student is caught without an ID card strict actions must be taken.

We have the most advanced courses all over India including subjects like python, internet of things, big data analysis coming on the exam structure there's a 30 marks internal and 70 marks external exam and to pass a subject the total out of hundred must be 40 marks.

Our college does not provide any internship or any placement or job opportunities. Last year students from my department were sent to PARUL University for placement because many companies visited PARUL University for placement.

Our college has many events and one of the 5 university event's is organised by my own department named CYBERIA its a state-level IT fest. Many other events are also there named Footprints, Prerna, Paramarsh, BBA Bazigar etc.

The fee structure for my course is very expensive (90000) annually because they claim our department and course to be self-finance. It is expensive because 30% of our P.C are not working, 20% fans are not working, toilets are not clean.

I know of a few scholarships provided by our college but I didn't avail any of them. For student's coming under reserved quota 70% of the fee is refunded I know this because I have some friends who availed it.

Lab practicals is a regular activity in our department,90% of our subject also have a practical lab and 10% are elective subjects and they barely have practicals. Our college does not organise any sports activity, all the tournament and competition are organised by the students on the university ground.

There was no alumni network till last year our department has just started it this year. A committee was formed by the head of the department this year including both teachers and students. Senior students were very good and helpful when I was in the junior year, they helped me study wise and in many other ways.

First I filled online admission form and the generated challan for the entrance exam fee. Then appeared for the exam for which the merit came out in 2-3 days. After having my name on the merit list I got called for a document submission process and they gave me my fees challan.

The teaching faculty is not good as per the course they are providing, most of the teacher's in our department are freshers and dont even know how to teach and handle a class full of students, how to keep an eye on a student during the exam. If we visit them with doubt they simply google it and give us the answer.
