Remarks

If you have bad company you’ll ruin your life. Always look out for your company. Be alone rather than in a bad company. Friends change you so choose your friends wisely. If you make friends with wrong people your career is ruined.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is good for overall development and learning. We have 3 internal exams for each subject and then an external at the end of the semester. Exam structure is a little hectic and requires you to study throughout the semester.

Placement Experience

3.5

I’m a first year student so I’ve not done any internship yet but our college has a placement cell which takes care of internships and placements for all the willing students. We have to 1 internship per year.

College Events

3.5

I just finished my 1st semester so I only witnessed a internal fest called symptoms and it was fun. We made a lot of friends and we united as a class. The next big fest is going to be symbhav. It is Pune’s biggest fest and well known for it’s amazingness.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is quite expensive as fee for 1 semester is 155000 and then hostel fee is also very high and we have to spent money on assignments too. For management quota students it is very high and they pay triple.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides scholarships to toppers and I don’t know much about loan facility but scholarships are good. And college compensates us for the fest and competitions that we take part in. Overall college trues to provide everything that it can.

Campus Life

3.5

We have a lot of committees in our college. We have everything. From sports to drama, our college has room for everything and everyone. We have creative committee, PR, alumni, corporate, student welfare, dance, song, drama, and what not.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors and alumni are very helpful. Ragging is strictly banned and seniors help us out ok everything. Alumni provide us with necessary information as and when we need. Their guidance is very good and we get guest lectures.

Admission

I filled the admission form and then wrote an exam called SLAT. Passed that and then gave personal interview and writing ability test. Total of all three were considered for final admission. Written exam had 5 sections and interview was pretty much basic stuff.

Faculty

3

Some of the faculty are incompetent and some of the faculty are very good at what they do. We have 2-3 teachers per subject so it gets a little confusing but over all they give us good study material and help in understanding concepts.

The curriculum is extremely outdated. While NLU students are learning about law in thier first year itself, we have to wait till 3rd year for the same thing. A lot of students end up learning more at internships rather than at college

From 4th Year of the college the student is eligible for a pre-placement offer, main placements happen in the Final year i,e. 5th year. Companies that hire majorly are Tier-1 and Tier-2 law firms, like AZB, Khaitan&Co. Average package goes to about 15-16LPA. My plan is not fixed yet, but I aim to pursue SEBI or RBI law officer exam.
